ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I went to see Incubus Wednesday night in Edmonton. It was my first concert and I travelled all the way from Nova Scotia for it. It was well worth it!! I ended up at the very front and center so I was able to see everything! I have to agree with the Light Grenades comment though, I would have loved to hear that one! However, I was pleased with all of the songs. I wasnt expecting to hear such a variety from all the albums, so it was great!! I'll be sure to go again next time they come to Canada!!
Honestly, I was disappointed
Maybe my disappointment was partially due to the fact that I've been waiting so long for them to come to Edmonton, and had built up such high expectations. A few songs into the set there was a good energy and I thought it was setting up to be an amazing show. But then from there were all the mellow songs mixed in with a few radio singles. Not that I only wanted to hear the older material but there definately were a few I would of liked to hear. Also I got the feeling that the band was a little frustrated with the crowd and walked off early when they may have had a few more songs they would of played, I don't know. Just my view of the night.
Great Show...
Last night was the night, Incubus rocked my world once again, as they had previously in January when me and my boyfriend drove to Vancouver to see them. I have been a huge fan for years, and I am very grateful for them actually coming to my end of the world. The only disappointment I had was that they didn't play "Light Grenades" either show I seen, and isn't this supposed to be the "Light Grenades" tour?
I would also love to have had an autograph session with them. I recently got his latest book "From The Murks of The Sultry Abyss" and I want to have it signed.
Anyway, I hope we showed them a good enough time that they'll want to come back to Edmonton again sometime. I would definitely pay to see them again.
