hi, my name is...
Okay, so we all know that we're here for one reason, we like/love/are obsessed with incubus. i've only been here for a little bit, but i've gotten to talk to some really cool people..but i know nothing about them except for the fact that they like incubus. so i was thinking i'd start a thread where you could post a picture of yourself (only if you want to) and give us a paragraph or two about you, instead of focusing on incubus. i'll go first, be the ice breaker. (:
Hey, my name is kelsey (: i'm 17 and i live in michigan. i'm a senior in my school, and i have absolutely no idea what i plan on majoring in for college. haha. i love to laugh, and anyone that can make me laugh or smile is alright with me. obviously, i like incubus. a friend of mine showed me incubus sometime last year, because he can do a killer rendition of pantomime (alive at the red rocks style) and i got hooked. i've been to one show, in july, and i loved it. okay, but enough about incubus, lol. i've got amazing friends, who somehow stick by me. i love to entertain people, so i pretty much act goofy 24/7. i have pretty strong opinions on most subjects and i rarely have a filter, so you'll hear what i have to say about it, even if you don't like it. i like meeting new people. i have a wall dedicated to pictures of my friends. i'm afraid to leave highschool because its all i've known, and the idea of college scares the crap out of me. i'm single and not really looking because of events that had happend this summer. i LOVE spanish rice and sour gummy worms. i read for fun; but usually its sappy teen romance novels. i get great grades in school and i don't ever try. i play varsity soccer. i want a tattoo. and i'm really random.
jeezus, i could go on forever, but i won't. brief summary of about me. :] now i want to get to know you.

Ha buying books is fun, I came home with The Cat, The Dog(you know, those pictures of dogs and cats taking with a fish-eye? lens), Mucha(art nouveau artist) and a really cheap book about surfing.
I think it's time to put my Ikea expedit bookcase together :')

Phal: If you liked Interview with the Vampire, the movie.....you should definitely read the book.....it's so much better, in my opinion.
As for me and zombies.....we have a very rocky past.....had many nightmares of being chased by them as a child......so watching those kind of movies truly gives me the creeps. The one zombie movie I really liked....because of it's unexpectedly gothic feel....was 28 days. That's a real good one, in my opinion, of course.
And yes....the fact that all these mythical creatures make in appearance in so many different cultures spanning the globe, certainly does make you think.

I am a zucker for zombies also. They're just sooo much fun!
The only "vampire" movie I liked (and by the way, one of my all time favorites) is Ravenous.
It's not actually about vampires but about cannibalism and Weendigo, and makes you realize that vampirism is involved in every culture on this planet in one way or another. In this case, being North America.
Just like dragons. They also exist in every culture across the world!
...and it makes you wonder ....

Yeah....I'm partial to vampires myself.....have been ever since high school when I read Anne Rice's vampire chronicles. Never thought I could get sucked into the Twilight series though.....I mean it is under the youth category and seeing as I'm a bit older I have more.....mature tastes..... but boy was I shocked when I couldn't put Twilight down....I know people....don't hold it against me. lol But I'm a hopeless romantic and when it's all said and done....the Twilight series is really just about that....love. It's a great love story. What I want to read is Edward's version of the whole story in Midnight Sun, seeing as I relate to his character more than I do Bella. Several times while reading the series I was increasingly irritated by Bella's immaturity in certain matters.

ugh, i just hate the term 'newbie', i feel like at any moment i'll have my lunch money stolen & then get stuffed in a locker lol
anyway, hi, i'm ceceli or 'cec' ('sess'?!?) and i grew up in the L.A. area by very strict parents until i escaped, had many good & bad adventures and finally brought myself to a place that i'm happy in 
the first incubus song i heard was 'wish you were here' years ago and BB's voice was nothing i have ever heard before & i've been obsessed ever since! Mike is also an incredible musician and the whole group together are AMAZING!
other than incubus i like a huge range of music from Static X, to Deadmau5, to Joao Gilberto but i'd say the one genre of music that i cannot stand is country (sorry, no offense 2 all u country fans!!). i try to eat pretty healthy & exercise alot, i love scary movies but can't be alone after i watch them and when i'm not working i love my guitar and acting goofy with friends

my name is Nicola and I'm 16 and I'm from Germany, from a small town in Bavaria.
, but not when I'm with my friends hahaha. I just love having fun and I think peope who can make other people laugh are just awesome 
I go to school and I guess I am pretty good, but it's just sooo boring and too much homework to do haha. I'm a procrastinator as well
I always thought I would go and study somewhere abroad after finishing school, but I don't know... the thought of leaving everybody and having to find new friends is really scary to me :/
Oh well...haha.
I don't know Incubus for that long actually. I never bought a CD before M&M. Now there's no day that I don't listen to them and tell all my friends xD I really hope they come to germany next year!
I like sports a lot and I play soccer here. I read a lot, too. I just love when books take you into another world.

What I don't like is when people are too full of themselves and always want everybodys attention and don't listen to what the people around them say/think/want/feel.

Here we go:
My name is Esmée, I'm a twenty year old girl from the Netherlands.
I love to do anything creative, mostly drawing and hoping to become a graphic designer/illustrator.
But I've neglected my skills lately, but I suffer from something that Brandon Boyd calls 'a bad attitude'.
If you look up 'procrastinator' in the dictionary you'll probably find a picture of me.
I know Incubus for a pretty long time, I liked all their singles(I remember seeing the 'Drive' videoclip for the first time: *fan girl mode on* Brandon's stunning body was printed in the back of my head ever since *fan girl mode off*) but it was since late August I suddenly got the urge to listen to the rest their music. Really weird, the thought just popped up out of nowhere.
I also am a huge fan of Brandons artwork.
Next to Incubus I like bands/artists like The Mars Volta, Björk and Venetian Snares(don't be fooled by the name).

I think that makes you a pescetarian too. But I try to avoid dairy and eggs, because I'm mildly lactose intolerant. I guess it's just subtle differences.
