** Before anybody reads this just know that I am only voicing my opinion and am in no way disregard the opinions of others because as stated by not only our legislation, but our own self righteousness, our opinion is our own and nobody can take that away from us... HOWEVER, I would like to offer up some advice for those hating on Incubus **

You guys say that "this MV/song is not the Incubus i know" which is a completely valid statement, but to be fair its not the Incubus ANYBODY knows because they are taking a step in a new direction... as they have done for the last 15 years with almost every album they have released. For example, Fungus Amongus was a weird stage for not only them, but also the fans (lol) because it incorporated a kind of slap bass funk metal scream sing melodic discordance which they slowly matured out of leading to the release of Enjoy Incubus which I still to this day think is the tits. Enjoy Incubus still had that same funky feel and weird hilarity to offer, especially with lyrics such as "it doesn't mean poo poo without your nest or stumbled upon a brain fart" but it was still a step towards a NEW Incubus. Enjoy Incubus lead to S.C.I.E.N.C.E. which was finally professionally mixed and sounded f***ing incredible, especially Idiot Box, regardless of the amount of acid that was being taken at the time haha Either way this was still a NEW Incubus. Make Yourself is by far the most popular album cause it contains Make Yourself, I Miss You, Pardon Me, and Drive, which may I remind you DRIVE was one of the MOST PLAYED SONGS IN THE 90's! and the MUSIC VIDEO was shown on MTV FOR-f***ING-EVER! It has nothing to do with "selling out", they make f***ing great music and corporations like MTV are smart enough to see a great promotion opportunity! Morning View brought on a surfer mentality if you will, (which sadly brought on a lot of DUDE BRO, DOUCHE BAGS, TOOLS, and for lack of a better word, FRAT-DADDYS, to start listening, but lets face it they are too busy chugging Mad Dog and Natty Light and crushing their cans on their foreheads to actually LISTEN and UNDERSTAND the album so its a moot point haha.) A Crow Left of the Murder was shear and excellent genius, greatly in part to the bringing on of Ben Kenney, whose solo stuff, if you haven't already checked it out, is f***ing brilliant! Ben incorporated a similar, but at the same time COMPLETELY DIFFERENT sound than Alex, and I think it was so much for the better. This was the MATUREST of the albums in sound, technique, musicality, composition, everything about this album was spectacular, and may I yet again say it was due to a NEW f***ING INCUBUS! Light Grenades, yes was definitely different... but the f***ing album was nothing short of amazing and this album came out on my 18th birthday so I had an erection at the very thought of it being released the entire time I was listening to it haha but this album was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than anything they had created before and DIG was one of the most played songs on the radio in 2007-2008 BECAUSE IT IS A f***ING GOOD SONG! has nothing to do with selling out! people want to listen to great music, its not their fault that on their last 4 cds they've released there has been a song that took over the radio... they are brilliant musicians with what seems to be and endless array of talent!

All in all, you make take this information as you will, regurgitate it and call it s***, idk what you kids are doing these days, but either way, keep in mind they're musicians and musicians have slightly more developed right brains and our subject to change at any moment, but in the end its going to be accepted in some manner as genius!

Keep making amazing music you guys! You've been a giant part of my life and for that I cannot thank you enough! I'll see you at the Woodland Springs, Austin, and Dallas shows this year!!!!!

I agree, it's not the artistic flair we normally see from our genuises..... But, I'm not complaining!!! Love the song since I first heard it! Brandon will always be my "husband".. Mike is my "boyfriend on the side"... and b/c of this video.. Jose is now my "sancho"!!!!

Ok, I moved to england about two weeks ago from Jersey. I'm so f***ing pissed off that Incubus is gonna be touring the U.S and Canada right after I leave You guys are my favorite band EVER, I'm trying to let my mom go back for the Canada show, but I dont know whats happening with that. All I can do is pray But, with the preordering of the cd, its only for residents of the UNITED STATES! I really need to know if its comming out in england on the same day as america, because i want to camp outside of the Virgin music store here.

Yes, Incubus is finally living up to it's name. What's been done in the dark, will eventually be brought to light. Remember that...

When I downloaded BHI I was disappointed...another crappy love song like the ones on Light Grenades. Seeing the video and watching Brandon sing it has helped me like the song more. I'm still not totally down with it, but at least I won't delete it off my Incubus playlist now. And I'm hoping that seeing the guys in August will have the same effect on the other songs I don't care for all that much.
