hi

To be honest I really loved their designs and now I look forward to buy a dress for my girlfriend. She is sick at the moment, taking different kind of pills like Zyflamend, but not only and I thought it might be a good moment to make her a surprise since she have always been there for me. This is why I decided to buy from your designs.

Dress has a huge selection of womens dresses for every occassion - prom dresses,
homecoming dresses, quinceanera dresses, summer dresses and more!

that is good. At least it shows that you have other talents. Keep it up. how to make money

You are an incredible artist and it was so nice of you to collaborate with such a wonderful company such as TOMSshoes. I know this event to the public must've been spectacular! A big woo-hoo from the girl who lives on the east coast....

hey. i was there. i got there really early and still wound up with one of the last pairs of shoes made by brandon boyd. i cant complain though because i got what i came for and much much more. when i got to the middle of the line i could see brandon boyd through the enterance of an event that was going on behind the shoe store. it was blocked off by a gate. Sad i pulled out my cell phone and took as many pictures as i could. my crappy cell phone camera takes them from afar. when i moved up in the line i could see that brandon boyd had gone into the store. he was signing some girls shoe(what a lucky girl) and left through the front door. lots of people ran to get a picture or autogragh before he left but i was too stupid and shy to do that. i regret not acting like the crazy fan that i am to get a picture with him where my eyes would be bulging out of my skull and the corners of my smile would almost reach my ears. teehee. anywho, i thank brandon boyd for being there. you really show your fans like me you care. THANK YOU!!!!

Here's another event honoring Brandon and Incubus that you West coast fans might be interested in. It's evening celebrating Surfrider Foundation’s first 25 years, which is honoring Pearl Jam, Incubus and David Chokachi with a musical performance by Camp Freddy and special guests.
Camp Freddy is Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction), Billy Morrison (The Cult), Matt Sorum (Guns N Roses/Velvet Revolver), and Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction/Alanis Morrisette).
Sustainable food served, open bar and Live art auction with works by Shepard Fairey, Raymond Pettibon, Barry McGee, Billy Al Bengston, C.R. Stecyk III, Thomas Campbell and more.

Unfortunately, it's not free, but it does help raise funds for a good cause and organization. Tickets $200 GA, $250VIP and be purchased www.surfrider.org/25th

So, due to 'club-goer' traffic & parking issues, I arrived with just enough time to see Brandon walking out of the store, meet a few people outside (he's so friendly, zero arrogance), take a blurry picture with me (I was a little shaky and nervous- Smiling ), tell him I hope he brought hand sanitizer, hehe (as he shook countless hands), and then leave.

I just wish I had the chance to hear him speak more, I really enjoy listening to him.

He always has something mentally stimulating to say... Very aquarius! It's not common or easy for someone to manage to really capture my interest... Most people (sadly) don't think deeply enough...

Still, that 4.27 mile, *hour long* trip was worth it... hehe... Smiling I guess I still forget where I'm living.

Brandon, thanks again for the picture and for signing my ticket stub (by the way, you looked away before the second flash ;] ) It's okay, though. Sorry that i was so nervous. I still can't believe it. It felt so surreal. Thanks again!!

Brandon,

The shoes are absolutely amazing. Mine have so much detail! I even have my theory; based on the pictures, which canvas and from where on it parts of my shoes came from. I feel so honored to own such a beautiful piece of your artwork in shoe form!

i'm kinda kicking myself for not getting out of line to get a picture or autograph but for some dumb reason i thought you would be there all night or a little longer, but you did spend good time there and showed you more than cared!

Thanks again for the sick shoes Brandon! We should surf...

I just went! and he was there! and it was AWESOME!

Dear B.BOYD,
I was that geeky girl who was left in the store when you were leaving.. and you signed my shoe. i mean. YOUR SHOE!.. just wanted to say.. you're beautifully souled! and.. i was so lucky (=

I'm a Dolphin trainer so if you ever want to meet some of my friends, just let me know (=

to this wonderful company! The first time that I saw a commercial for TOMS shoes, I cried. It's nice to know that there are unselfish and compassionate people in the world. This company is all about love and sharing. No wonder why Brandon got involved with this company!
God Bless,

You know, from my perspective, I think the only way to 'change' anything is to just live the way you want to see things. I mean, Gandhi said it perfectly "You must be the change you wish to see in the world."... It's true...

One thing that people don't like is to feel forced or pressured to change or conform... I've found that the best approach is a gentle, accepting one. Live, breathe and BE what you hope for, and when you face opposition, don't let it upset you. Never let them see you angry about their 'opposition' to your cause, because it fuels the desire and satisfaction that they derive from 'attacking' you.

If they are hellbent on doing things that you don't agree with, show no emotion about it, just let them do as they choose- because an angry reply will only make them feel more justified in their behavior. Not only that, but it will push them farther away from your ideals, simply because their pride will prevent them from changing- for fear of hearing 'See! Isn't this better? I TOLD YOU!". Be nice, explain your reasoning, and your views, but the 'irritation and anger' doesn't benefit... Listen to their views/opinions (despite how crazy it might sound), because regardless of how unintelligent it seems to you, they don't think so- and they also want to be heard. Give them the respect you'd want given to you about your own choices. Right and wrong really are just a matter of opinion/perspective after all.

It's easier for the stubborn opposition to choose 'change', when they don't think that anyone is paying attention. Not to mention, after a while, they will begin to notice how 'calm' you are, in the face of their resistance/attack- and it will contrast their reactions- put things into perspective, and put their own ignorance on center stage with a big bright spotlight.

Whenever someone, who 'makes fun of me' (about my vegetarianism, love for nature, rescuing animals AND insects, etc.) suddenly becomes more understanding about how I am, I never 'throw stuff in their face' about how they used to be. I just live moment to moment, and pretend they never mocked me before. Evolution is FAR more important than pride/ego.

So, in a nutshell, I think it's best to be accepting and not scold people for 'not changing' in a timely manner...

Cause if you *really* think about it, at some point, we've all been the things we now dislike.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to Saturday... Smiling

See you... Smiling

It is a very progressive idea, now the real question is how do we change the main stream? is education the answer or is revolution?

nice! if only i could get my hands on them.... Sad

I will not be able to go either, or haven't made plans to go there, I live in SC, on the east coast. I heard about this the other day! Brandon is collaborating with Kristin Jai Kolesterman for Tom's Shoes, this should be cool. I have never heard of Tom shoes before, it more like a flat shoe. I think flat shoes are the cutest, but I usually like a little heel. I'm more into comfortable shoes. I would probably wear these if their comfortable. Does Tom's make comfortable shoes? You don't know what it feels like to walk around in uncomforable shoes.

UGH

I wish I lived nearer to all my favourite bands.... :'(
And I want to see those shoes!

He'll probably be there!

I'm not speaking for him, but he really does put in an effort to support art. This I know because I randomly ran into him at an art gallery. It was everything you'd expect meeting a person you admire would be like: awkward, intimidating, and surreal.

One side of me was telling me, "No! Don't say anything, it'll just taint your god-like perspective of him." The other side said "Doooo it!! Who cares if he's with his date." I was nullified until my friend went up to them and said to Brandon something that would embarrass us both, "This guy's, like, you're number one fan!"

-_-

the shoes will be $125, only one design, and not sure if Brandon will be at the opening on the 26th, but i hope so because I WILL BE THERE!
and you can only purchase them at the silverlake store after the opening on sunset blvd. you cant get them online.

you stare at me like im a vitamin on the surface you hate but you know you need me

Man it sucks being on the East Coast. First, I can't go to his art show, then they have a surprise concert that I can't possibly go to and now I can't even purchase these unless I go to a store in LA? I'm so sad! Sad
