I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... well first off, they're the best band ever! End of story. I remember the first time I ever heard Incubus... (Start the flashback effects) I was in the car with my mom on my way back home from soccer practice in '97 and heard a little diddy called A Certain Shade Of Green! WOW! HOLY S@&%! The sound I heard emulating from my moms 96 honda civic was like nothing I've ever heard before. On that fatefull day arrived a new born Incubus Sucubus. I yelled for my mom to head to the nearest music store, the now defunct Strawberries (sad), and bought my first two Incubus records; Fungus Amongus and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Although Fungus Amongus is an exceptional work of musical art it doesnt hold a candle to S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and only hardcore Incubus fans, in my eyes atleast, will atest to that. Ever since then I've never looked back and continue to look forward to the next new release. I'm an Incubus fan and everyone I tell it to, soon becomes one. They're a huge influence on my life and are one of the very few things that has always been around at every pivotle moment in my life. They've helped shape me into the person I am today and will continue to do so. I'm honestly sitting here as I write this thinking about it and sure as rain there they are, playing in my head as I think about those moments. From my first song, through my Marine Corps career to my first proposal, marriage and ultimately divorce. The birth of my daughter and to now, my second proposal (this is the one for sure). Evernyone and anyone will agree, I owe alot to the way I am because of Incubus. Thanks guys!
