Kinda late in the game i "discoverd" Incubus in 2008. Shame on me .
Anyway actually i discoverd Brandons art first, then read he was also in a band. The rest is history..
How did it influence me, besides from many hours of listing and visual pleasure, it made me pick up my paintbrushes again after 5 years. So guys: Thank u from the bottom of my heart.
(also my paint and other art stuff supplier would like to thank u for me filling his pockets. Paint prices went up in 5 years

What drew me to Incubus years ago was their ideology (which I picked up on in their songwriting). Very similar to mine so that made me feel like I wasn't a lonely soul traveling by myself in this crazy f***ed up world. I am also drawn to people who are original and unique. Those who embrace their individuality, and third is kind of vain but lol Brandon Boyd is FINE!!!! I would be lying to myself if I didn't admit that truth, lol.

I wanna kick Jose b/c I nearly saw Incubus at a small club in Scranton, PA when they toured with 311 but Jose hurt himself and they dropped off the tour. I feel your pain.

Incubus has taught me to "Drive" better, "Make Yourself" and shared their "Warning" with me to "don't
ever let life pass you by".
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll admit that as soon as I became completely hooked I went out and got all 4 DVD's. They are all amazing and whatever mood I'm in I can find the perfect one!! Today I've been stuck on the Morning View album and will watch the DVD tonight. I have to be careful though, I don't think I've listened to really anyone else in the past 6 months!
Lorilaz, you should grab one of their dvd's. That tends to be the experience that takes a fan from a "love" to an "obsession".

There is so much within driving distance over there man... but getting IN to DC always baffled me.
Yeah, I had heard Incubus before, but I wasn't really hooked until I found probably eight of my other favorite songs were ALSO by them.
Also, I started looking up videos, and got a third album from them. Yeah.... I had two albums and WASN'T hooked!!! LOL!!!!
It was Morning View and Light Grenades. My friend told me that Incubus (LG tour) was the best concert she had EVER been to, and I got to thinking...

Thanks! I'm doing my best to catch up on as much Incubus as possible!!! I don't understand why it took me so long to figure out how amazing they are but I guess everyone finds them in their own way. I can't wait for a new album because I have never seen them in concert. I'll be hitting Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC or wherever else they play in the tri-state area.

I've listened to Incubus all my life but never thought one way or the other about them. I recently went through a breakup from a 15 year relationship and during that time came across their music again. I really didn't feel good about myself or where I was at but slowly, as I listened to them, things became clearer. Things are amazing right now and I've even started writing poetry which is a first for me. I love those guys and make sure I listen to them everyday. Their music connected with me and I was able to have some self love again. Thanks Incubus, much love!

He won't stop. Brandon knows he's pretty. The other guys know he's pretty. But saying that Brandon Boyd=INCUBUS?!?!?! I'm sorry, he's not the only f***ing member. A single singer would not be nearly as impressive. Beauty has nothing to do with talent, or ability to make music that resonates deep within people, on levels they didn't know they had. Just GAH! I am like, who the hell is this retarded?!?!
