I have been a fan since seventh grade. So...about seven years? Maybe...?
Sure. Sounds good to me.
I think Light Grenades is one of the reasons why I love Incubus so much. Like I said, I've been a fan for a long time. I have every album, every dvd, have every lyric memorized like the gospel, and so on.
Given that I've been a fan for such a long time, I'm comfortable with the fact that Incubus has progressed they way they have from Fungus Amongus to Light Grenades. To be honest, I don't think I would be so crazy about them if they ALWAYS did the same thing over and over and over again.
I think this new album is wonderful. I dig the way it flows from song to song. It's infused with songs like Rogues that have this raw, barbaric energy that makes me nostalgic and reminds me of why I fell in love with them in the first place.
Anyway, I think that everyone has their Desert Island Top Five All Time Favorite Albums list.
The ones that you listen to in your beat up Oldsmobile** at full volume with the windows rolled down so everyone who's stopped next to you at a stop light can hear it, whether they want to or not. This one is on my Desert Island list. Along with A Crow Left of the Murder.
I'm not disappointed at all. These guys are the only guys I know that have never let me down.
They always deliver.

**Note:: Yes I do drive an Oldsmobile. And for some reason it has a trailer hitch. What was the previous owner of my beloved Gretta the Olds trying to hitch? One can only imagine.
My Two Cents
