Why do I love this album so much?
Because it enbodies the sound of what Incubus stands for.

For me its telling the truth. Being honest about what you think is going on in your emotions and the world and putting them together.

The song Light Grenades does that for me. Its very raw and truthfull. Slaps you in the face and says, "ADMIT IT, its true!" At first when I heard it I was thinking, what the hell am I hearing! Then I read the lyrics and thought, its perfectly done.

"Dig me up from under what is covering the better part of me!" Who doesn't want that to happen to you? I have someone who has saved me and made me who I am today. I love this song because I can totally relate to it and plus the music is breathtaking and addicting!

Rogues is another song that slaps you in the face with an addicting beat and raw truthful lyrics. Ohh how i love this song.

Oil and Water. Who hasn't had a relationship with someone that you discover you don't get along with? I certainly have and this song says exactly what I was thinking at the time.

Love Hurts, isn't that the truth! But I guess you do have to look on the bright side............you are alive.

Diamonds and Coal is a great example of every relationship. You need to work out your problems to get along. Once that happens your relationship blossoms and you can move forward.

Paper Shoes is another song that is so easy to relate to. All of us have met someone that brings you down and its not until you escape, that you realize how much better you feel without them.

A Kiss to Send Us Off is great song. Why wouldn't you want to have just one more kiss before you die and are sent off into oblivion.

Pendulous Thread. I'm sure you have met someone that causes a mess in their life and then they runaway from it expecting you to clean it up. They make you do all the work to make them happy again and then don't even appreciate it when the mess had been cleaned.
