Every album is different than the last album. Keeps me on my toes. I love the different sounds.

i think this is another great album from incubus. it is so unique and fresh, i have never heard anything like it. it is incredibly addictive, the first time i heard it i just wanted to play it over and over again, likewise with most of their albums!
they are great and i dig the new album! i just i hope i get to taste it in the flesh with a gig in australia! (please please please!!!) enjoy.

It's an amazing album with awesome lyrics and an extraordinary musical experience. You guys certainly Rock! Cheers...!

Another fantastic album! The main difference between "a crow left of the murder" and light grenades are the many "pop" numbers in light grenades like oil and water, dig and love hurts. Alle three tracks are among my favourites in this album along with rogues and anna molly. The album is the most melodic album Incubus have made and you can really see how they have developed in their music since "enjoy incubus" where the tracks were much more experimenting and "searching". I like the development because even though I find many of their old tracks amazing like take me to you leader, shaft, hilikus and azwethinkweiz their three latest albums have been more complete in a more earpleasing way. SCIENCE is still the best album after my opinion because that was the first time you saw what Incubus were really capable of. Many heavy tracks with funny and inspiring texts.
I give light grenades 4 out of 5 stars. I miss some of the old Incubus sound and the "earth to bella" tracks are musically boring. But the potential of the tracks; Anna molly, dig, a kiss to send us off, oil and water, rogues and love hurts are all tracks that could become Incubus classics and that's what I like about this album. Brandon Boyd is a gifted man who with his voice and lyrics should be one of the most respected singers in america. The way the band connect and combine each other are amazing and an inspiration to every music lover.

i like the new album, but i think that the 2 songs of the japanese version are awesome!
Two versions of the same song i think that is too much (Earth to Bella), I prefer Look Alive replacing one of them.

I'm waiting for Incubus in Chile next october 8 and october 9 !!!

Incubus has always been one of my favorite bands but i never really stop to really listen to them. It wasn't until i was doing yard work for the house i was about to move out of when i thought well i need music to listen too why not Ligth Grenades. By the time A Kiss To Send Us Off was nearly over i relized i had wasted my time listening to other crap the ment nothing and had no meaning or soul to it. At that point i stopped what i was doing and went in side to just sit and listen to the album. After days of just listening to it i found myself stund and emotionly amazed. To me music is my life with out it i would be lost and hopeless, which sounds stupid cause so many people say it but i do really mean it. And this, not just this album, but incubus seems to be a breath of freash air.

Light Grenades kicks ass!! I have been a fan since fungus and these guys never seize to blow my mind. This album isn't even close to "pop rubbish!" And to say Jose isn't trying anymore just makes me laugh. As a drummer myself, I can say that Jose's work on the album is far from easy and mundane. He hasn't lost one bit of his creative touch and the same goes for the rest of the band. Solid work guys!!

Incubus is reinvented in every album, and this time they did it again.
And the "special thing" about the band is they always sounds like Incubus, do whatever they do, they have the unique Incubus sound.

how can i compare one album of incubus with other from incubus? they are all different and it's because of that i love incubus...they are constantly changing their sound for good

oil and water just gives me the biggest chills..... couldn't believe when I saw the video of mike and b playing it live......

100% agree with Nuhbe! my only beef is that they left "Punch Drunk" off of the US release; one of my FAVORITE incubus songs ever!

I absolutely LOVE this album.
When i first bought it..it was sooo different, from everything else that the guys had thrown out there before..but it caught on within a week.
And soon i was singing to every song on there.
I agree with some of you though, i hate it that they left Punch Drunk and Look Alive out.
Those are some AMAZING songs.

Keep it up. Love the sound

I came aboard of Incubus popularity rather late, but no regrets.Started with "Morning View" (passing actual Morning View in Malibu daily on a way to work, so don't hate me, I just work there!). "A Crow..." came strong, so did my 1st show at the Forum. Working "backwards" to "Science" and "Make Yourself" was a delightful experience. What a rich innovative sound and gutsy mixes! I LOVE "Glass", The Warmth", "Vitamin", "Favorite Things": powerful, mysterious, ultra-wide sound experiments. Man, I've tuned up my stereo on those tracks!
Then came "Light Grenades". OK, I admit, you've got to grow into (some of ) it. While "Led Zeppelenish"- tunes of "Quicksand" might be puzzling, "Love Hurts" (nothing to do with Nazareth!) is sweet and comfy, and "Oil and Water" still carries some load of the glorious past, the rest of the album is just FRICKIN' CONFUSING. What the f*** happened? Is that supposed to be a sharp turn into the new direction? This is a cul-de-sac, "not a through street", IMHO! I thought my audio is screwed up: sound is mediocre, style is like slapped together in a week in some Motel (you now the number).
Guys, quit your narcissism (or get back to it?) and go back to your roots of the glory times from "SCIENCE" all the way to the "A Crow..."!

Dig just gets deep down in my soul.

i can't begin to express what songs like 'dig' and 'anna molly' have done to increase my appreciation for light grenades and incubus in general.... but lets just stick to the idea that they're incredible. i just made 'dig' my ringtone because i simply can't stop listening to it. it runs through my head all day

Earth to Bella is my least favorite song of Incubus' career. It is beyond me why they felt they needed to make two tracks from it.

I went and saw them at the pavillion, and I couldn't believe they sounded better in person then on cd. Every minute was amazing, including when I was backstage and Brandon said hey to me ...

I saw them at the Pavillion and they were great! It was my sixth time seeing them and they rocked as always!

This album is amazing. I love so many songs on the album. You guys are coming to Victoria, BC, Canada this Monday, and my two best girl friends and I are going and we reeeeeally want to meet you guys SO bad! Great album....Dig is fabulous but after listening several times also have come to appreciate Love Hurts and Light Grenades. Keep up the great work ! Hope to see a SE Asia tour soon. Videos for this album are also fantastic....appreciate a band willing to show some creativity both lyrically and visually....

Incubus has set a precedent for large bands with its current carbon neutral tour. Though "Crow" was carbon neutral as an album, the "Light Grenades" tour has challenged complacency with a commitment to a biofueled fleet, recycling at shows, organic food and merchandise, as well as providing education to concertgoers. This gives people a chance to unite with regard to music as well as our deep concern for Mother Earth. Sincere congratulations to the brains behind this operation and to everyone in the midst that upholds the values of sustainability and activism.

I'm sure many young, new fans of the band found a way to fall in love with this album. Unfortunately for me, I grew up with Make Yourself and S.C.I.E.N.C.E.: I fell in love with the kick-ass Incubus. As a musician, I have a great respect for the songs they have written on Crow and Light Grenades, but I always hoped that they would find new ways to keep the Nu-Metal alive, and leave the hippie rock to the hippies. Still love and support the band, but these are my feelings.
