I spent one Friday afternoon watching “morning view sessions” and I listened to “the warmth”, and I realized once again the reason why I am an Incubus fan, because every song portrays its own message, lesson, own sound, and – furthermore – it can be adapted to several situations on a daily basis

I’d like to start with the song “The warmth” which reminds me that most likely in bad situations, there will be people that would like to hurt me. There are, however, a few people that stay by your side no matter what, and these people are looking for the best for you. In my case my family and friends.

I listened “the warmth” and I really like the part that goes like this:

“So don’t let the world bring you down,
Not everyone here is that f***ed up and cold,
Remember why you came and while you’re alive”

Also in songs such as “Warning” I remember the part that says:

“When she woke in the morning
She knew that her life had passed her by
And she called out a warning
Don't ever let life pass you by”

I like that feeling when you wake up in the morning, hopeless because last week has not smiled to us. My point is: Why do we have to spend our lives thinking in the bad things that happen to us, instead of thinking that everyday is a new day, full of new experiences that we will live once in a lifetime?? For me, wasting my life that way is pointless…

Taking into consideration songs such as “Dig” that verses about people that have left a milestone in our lives, or “Wish you were here”, “Oil and water”, “Diamonds Stars as Coal”, “Love Hurts”, and “Mexico”. Last but no least “In my room” gave me a different perception of what love really is – a tool that you can use to know yourself, to miss a person eventhought he/she is not there to live that moment with you, to know that love is not only loving the “good” things about your partner, but to love the so called “bad” things.

Finally, I love the lyrics, album covers, the meaning of every band member, because due to them Incubus has been made . This is the band I like to listen to while working, while doing nothing in a lonely afternoon, actually always. And due to these reasons, I am still being an Incubus fan
