Mike's love life?
You know, in all the years i've been a megafan of Incubus, i've heard a good bit about all the guys
and their girl friends......that is except Mike. Does anyone know if he has a girlfriend, boyfriend,
or something similiar? Curiosity.......

I agree Jacke, though I definitely wouldn't turn down meeting them at an M&G I'd almost prefer meeting them in a more spontaneous setting.

That's an awesome experience! I think you'll all get to meet them and I hope I have the opportunity to meet them again. I knew going in that I wouldn't have the courage to try and stand next to BB in the picture like some girls did. Oh well! EF...yours was amazing because you didn't have to share your experience with anybody but your friend. The M&G was an amazing experience, but nothing like having them all to yourself!

EF: The way you told it, I felt like I was there. I can only just imagine how amazing it must have been to actually meet and talk to the guys. Though I'd probably need more than one drink! Kudos to you for keeping your cool so admirably! And your story is just one more confirmation of all the reports of how totally nice and refreshingly down to earth they really are. It's great to hear.

You girls are so sweet. I hope you all get to meet them one day. I'm as surprised as all of you that I got to hug them all with the exception of Jose because our meeting was very brief. They were just terribly, terribly down to earth. Mike was totally flirting with my bff lol. I remember everything about that day in perfect detail. I branded it into my memory forever. When my bestfriend and I got there they were just about wrapping up soundcheck. I thought I was going to hyperventilate so we met up with my promoter friend and got some drinks. We just chilled and walked around. I saw Bruce! I guess someone who works with them was walking him. Then we ran into my friend again and he was talking to Mike and Brandon. Then the defining moment of my life happened when he waved me over. If it wasn't for the jack and coke I was sipping, I would have probably not been able to maintain the "this is no big deal" facade I had going.
My friend introduced us and told them that we were excited for the show tonight. Brandon asked if it was the first time I saw them live and I said no then my friend told them that it was hers and she didn't really listen to them but she was excited either way. Mike said that she should be and that we were "popping her incubus cherry", then I said "incubus hymen" and Brandon pointed at me and excitedly said, "Yeah!" And we laughed. Oh lord, I'm losing it just remembering. I don't want to ramble so I'll just say it was the best few minutes of my life.

EF!!!!!!! I am BEYOND envious....a full on, body to body, crushing embrace with Mr. Boyd?!?!?! You've just described one of recurring fantasies. How in the hell did you manage that? I always thought that was something he'd not easily do with a fan. Thanks for being so descriptive, I just lived vicariously through you....and it was AWESOME.....

I've decided to edit this and abstain from talking about people who are irrelevant to me. Hope you guys don't mind
Ah yes, I met those lovely gentlemen. My dear friend's a huge concert promoter and he knew I loved Incubus so he not only got me front row right in front of Mikey but backstage passes for me and a friend. This was like a defining moment in my life so I brought my bestfriend... Even though she's not really a fan. She didn't know what any of them even looked like until she met them which was amusing. Anyway, they were all very sweet and attentive. Mikey was loving my bestfriend lol. When she stood next to him, her bag was accidentally touching his bum and he playfully asked, " Are you touching my ass? " So she laughed and actually gave it a little squeeze lol. It was great. I think Jose is actually shorter than Mikey which is nuts. Kilmore is really sweet and really crossed eyed. Ben is so awesome and funny... And the man of the hour, Brandon is just so incredibly cool. He has a firm handshake. Strong hands and they feel a little rough, artist's hands. Great eye contact. And when we hugged it was like a full on hug. He totally embraced me! Arms around eachother, laid my head against his chest, felt his heartbeat for a moment lol... Totally gay but I took in every moment. It was the perfect hug. We even laughed afterwards because he enthusiastically said " Now that's a quality hug! " Needless to say, I almost died. Best day of my life thus far.

I know Alison through her little sister, Elise, because Elise and I went to middle/high school together, but I've never spoken to Alison. I've said hi to her once or twice when I'd go over to their house, but nothing more than that. My sister and Alison have mutual friends but from what I've been told Alison isn't fond of us at all and we don't know why. At least I don't, because I've never done or said anything to her to make her dislike me... lol

Speaking of which, Mike is pretty short. I'm 5'6 and a half and I was a bit taller than him... And Brandon is around 6ft flat. He's not short by any means but definitely not 6'2.

It's so great that the guys have such a close relationship. It must be amazing to share the most pivotal points in both your personal life and profesional life with your best friends right there beside you experiencing all of it with you. I have no doubt that's why Incubus remains together while other bands split due to internal strife.
