It was many years ago that i heard this album. Definetly funk inspired, and even though Boyd from incubus says in many interviews that it was an immature album, the musicianship is amazing. I dont know any other 15 to 16 year olds that sound like that. If you havent heard it pick it up somewhere! Definetly a great album!
