I've been listening to these guys for a long long time. I picked up Fungus Amongus at a local music store as soon as I saw the Mushroom on the front. It was that Mushroom. That was the whole reason I wanted it. XD And when I witnessed the funky freshness that disc contained, I was hooked and the love began. (Though I didn't understand much if any of the lyrics at the time.)
So why do I love Incubus? I like to see how they mature and grow. (Both literally and musically) Though Fungus Amongus and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. will always have a special place in my heart, I accept an enjoy the changes they've made since Make Yourself. It shows me that they are well rounded as people and musicians. If you listen to something like Aqueous Transmission, then put on Psychopsilocybin, it's hard to believe it's the same band! Amazing how a group can soundso good in two totally different genres. The thing I've always liked about them so much, is that when I listen to Incubus, it seems to me like I'm listening to a bunch of my old friends just hanging out and having fun. It's like they're just regular guys, not just playing music for attention and money (Unlike the feeling a lot of other bands today tend to give me...)
I suggest Incubus to anyone out there who's tired of the same ol' stuff, and wants to increase their musical taste a little. Thanks to Incubus, I can enjoy everything from Metal, to Funk and Jazz. Great band. Always my favorite no matter what!
Peace Out!

P.S: I still sometimes call Brandon "Happy Knappy".
Does that make me old school? =P
P.P.S: I Can't even begin to say how hard a laughed when I saw the Chuck Head Defender Game. EPIC.
