medical marijuana
Ferndale, Mich. Ferndale voters will get the chance to legalize the sale of marijuana within city limits for medical purposes.

The Detroit News reports the proposal on the Nov. 4 ballot would allow the National Organization for Positive Medicine to obtain a court order to distribute and sell medical marijuana to "sick" patients.

The Daily Tribune of Royal Oak reports the group's Carl M. Swanson collected enough signatures to get the issue on the ballot in the Detroit suburb.

A MAN is receiving treatment after threatening to jump off the 15th floor of Grimsby's Albion House.

The block of flats, in Albion Street, was surrounded by police and paramedics were put on standby during the incident.

One eye witness said the stand-off had been ongoing since about 11am.

He was attended to by officers at about 2pm.

OMG, Sherry, the teacher I work with, had her tree uprooted, and came back down in her driveway and crushed her stepdaughters car and it took them 2 days just to clear the driveway to get her car out of the garage. Her whole property fence was ripped out and as of right now, she still has no power. Glad no one was hurt though.

Kwame sucks.

Well in PA the late breaking news is that the state senate just passed a bill making most public places smoke-free. So now it goes on to Gov. Rendell for his endorsement, for the record he is going to sign it and within 90 days I won't have to deal with inconsiderate smokers anymore. YAY!!!!!! Yeah, go ahead a yell b/c I have not sympathy for you smokers.

Gas prices above the national average. $4.17/gal reg. food prices on an increase in western NY. will we ever see an end to this madness. some predict that just as the housing market had its rise and extremes the came crashing to the ground. so to will the current gas crisis.

an affair with his now ex chief of staff
Christine Beatty. That locals call
the text message scandal.
2) allegedly had a strip party and hookers
at the manoogian mansion while his wife was
away and allegedly had something to do with
the untimely death of one of those strippers
the mayor calls this an urban legend
3) Paid a 8.4 million dollar settlement in
what is now call the whistle blower trial
where 3 police officers sued the mayor
for unlawfully firing them.
which later came out that they settled because
they had texting evidence of the real reason the officers
were fired and his affair. And helping his contractor friend
get big jobs in the city. for big $
The city prosecutor has brought the mayor and Beatty with seven.
Charges for both included perjury,
misconduct in office and obstruction of justice.
There have been more allegations by to many people
to count, of the wrong doings he has commited.
