The band tokk three years to come out with Crow after their release of Morning View, which was arguably their most prestigious project to date. Not only did the View have several mainstream success stories in the forms of Wish You Were Here and the others, but the tunes that never hit the radio are some of the best written songs in the last ten years of rock music. Morning View was such a smashing release for them, I'm not surprised that many fans, including myself, could not embrace Crow with such open arms. I was left wanting more, especially after waiting for three years, and though the album as a whole is still very good, I heard the sound of the band turning in a direction that I, personally, did not want it to go. After all that criticism, I still gave it 4 stars!

This is definitely my favorite album. It is fantastic from start to finish. I love every song on the album and only wish that Light Grenades followed its form. I think that people should really give this album another listen before they blow it off just because it doesn't sound like Morning View. This album contains the perfect mix of slow, hard, and obscure tracks, it has it all!!!!

I love this Cd my all time Incubus fav song is on this album Sick Sad Little World Its the best song i think they ever made even though i love there other songs alot but that song is like the best 6 munite song i ever hurd the guitar solo is awsome mike just feels the hell out of the strings on this one ben bumps it out jose is amazing on the drums kilmore puts the nice effects and sound and brandon just sings his ass off with his voice thats a bad ass song it just puts me in another level every time i listen to it..........freaking A!!! album

Ademas de estrenar nuevo disco, estrenan nuevo bajista, y creo que Ben le da algo especial a incubus y eso es muy bueno me gusta. Pero igual es dificil olvidar Dirk Lance tambien era muy bueno y paso buenos momentos junto a incubus creando buenas canciones como New skin que el bajo es muy weno y otros como The Warmth que tambien son la patá.
Gran disco nadie lo discute y menos si eres fan de incubus xD

It was weird, because when I previewed this album, I thought it was...different. When I bought it. the difference of it just got me completely hooked! I've been listening to it for forever now, and I can say that I'm completely addicted. It is so amazing. The music is very different, and Brandon's voice is very amazing in this album. But when isn't it amazing? Haha, well, he just does things with his voice that are just amazing, like 1:25 seconds into Beware! Criminal. That's the part that just amazes me. I LOVE THIS ALBUM!

Megalomaniac is amazing. I also love Priceless, A Crow Left of the Murder, Agoraphobia, Pistola, Beware Criminal, and Sick Sad Little World. KEEP MAKING NEW ALBUMS!!

Overall an amazing album. Helped me really build my chops on the drumset too! Shaft? did i miss a bonus track? How'd that find its way off Fungus?

InCUBUS ROCKSS COME 2 HOLLAND!!!!!!!

A new era with a new bassist and you can definately tell. They are now completely different to the band that made make yourself & morning view. A much darker affair, controversial because of conotations of George W. Some people arent sure about this album but I love it, it came at an important time in my life and it speaks to me about girls, high school and being awkward.

Love the lyrics. Love the guitar and bass. Jose did awesome with the drums. Great Album

This album had to be great, just because "Morning View" was perfect. They tried a completely new formula, back to rock basics... and achieved just what it needed to be done.
Definitely a must have for everyone.

El peor álbum de Incubus con diferencia. Sólo salvo de la catástrofe Here in my Room y Sick Sad Little World. El cambio tan rotundo sólo se explica por el abandono del grupo de su bajista Dirk Lance. No entraré en si estubo bien o no que se fuera, me da igual, no sé los motivos ni me interesan. Pero si sé que el nivel del grupo bajó muchisimo y si Incubus hoy son lo que son fue por los álbumes que sacó el grupo cuando estaba el anterior bajista. Esa es la única verdad y quien lo niegue es que no ha escuchado el SCIENCE, el Make Yourself o el Morning View ya que están en otra división.

This album isn't their greatest feat but it is still pretty good. Here in my room is a great mellow song along with Southern girl. The chord progressions in the more mellow songs are very soothing. The harder songs with the complicated chord progressions sound wonderful too. Talk show host on mute kind of makes me feel as I was in a different time period which is kind of compelling. Reminds me of when I was a very young man watching cartoons really. I'm not sure that is what they were aiming for but, I do own this album on LP and I think it is a good one to have.

Another great album,.....LOVE It!

This album only took one listen to make me love it. It has some of the best work on here. It's really an undiscovered gem. "Sick Sad Little World", "Pistola", "Here In My Room", "Talk Shows On Mute", "Megalomaniac"... seriously. All rad songs!! I listen to this CD at work all the time and every time I make someone else fall in love with it.

I seriously cried the first time I heard "Here In My Room" So beautiful...

I can say that all of thier works are great and can hardly compare each album.
First I got addicted to Megalomaniac, which was so shocking at that time.
I also love pistola, southern girl,talk shows on mute,made for TV movie and, HERE IN MY ROOM is sooooo great. Beautiful.Amazing!!

This is right with make yourself as my favorite incubus album. There isn't a bad song on here, and Southern Girl is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's a diverse album, but they bring it for every song.

I have to say I really didn't like this album when I first heard it. The songs Southern Girl and Here In My Room stuck out like sore thumbs. The rest of the album is good, but not the best Incubus I've heard.

Okay, you got a new bass player and survived! Good job! This album is picture-perfect when it comes to changing tides. It showed me that Incubus can take any word out of the dictionary and make it a hit song. "Megalomaniac" is definitely politically correct, especially if we're talking about the United States. "Agoraphobia" (which means fear of the outdoors--for those of you who don't know) is the story of my life; though I'm not agoraphobic, sometimes I want to be... Oh my God! and "Leech" is also the story of my life: "High school never ends." I LOVE IT!!!

these guys never cease to astonish. 4 weeks, ladies and gentleman. that's how long it took these guys to record this album. that's the power of inspiration.

I think texts on this album are better than on light grenades, but the sounds got a little boring i think (in comparism with the last albums)...
BUT i like you guys anyways ...and don't wanna miss pistola and zee deveel. All together it's the album i listen to less than any other.

I can quite easily say that this is one HELL of an experience. Its a strange new fusion of dark and uplifting music that speaks to every listener personally on a one-on-one basis. I dont quite 'get' the people who dont rate this album as the bands greatest achivement, but i guess them people dont 'get' what the band successfully expressed in the absolute epic masterpeice.

I have to admit, light grenades was a tiny bit of a dissappointment that it didnt quite live up to the standards of ACLOTM. Then again, not alot can... its very hard to top an album in which every song but Priceless is rated 5/5.

The gem of the entire album has to be 'Sick, Sad, Little world' (6/5 STAR). This has to be the greatest song i have ever heard FULLSTOP. That song alone marks the absolute pinnacle of Incubus' genious, i sincerely hope they can create somthing as stunning as that again.

I dont care who you are... this cd has brought me many memories... i have CONVERTEd people into liking incubus through this cd... once again i have to give it to the badass lyrics brandon offers. the man can write. very special talent from each of the boys comes out of every cd and the new member ben kenny shares his in this cd as well. theres not much to say. we are going into mature incubus with this cd.. the boys have grown up but still Rocked it. i have loved incubus since i was a child.. im married now and still enjoying everything they have to offer and a crow left of the murder deserves props!! listen to it and tell me it sucks. i cant say that. ENJOY INCUBUS!
