Did you people actually listen to this album before you rated it? Because although it may be very different it's not unworthy. You will be a hot dancer is an amazing song, it just takes some getting used to especially if you jumped onto the incubus bandwagon after morning view...

Te vuela la cabeza, y no hay forma de negarlo.

A forma de verlo, este es el verdadero Cd en el que se puede apreciar a cada miembro de Incubus y su formación musical. Es INCREIBLE q este haya sido la primer grabación de Incubus.

You can definitely here their influences in this album.........Mr. Bungle, Primus, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I love the songs though. One of the best.

a great album right here!! fungus amongus is really funky!! yea it does sound a little like primus and the chili peppers but those bands are great too!! so therefor this album is incredible!!

Very different from the Incubus i knew. I got this album after ACLOTM. Took some time getting used to but still was awesome (everything they do is AWESOME).

aww man my very first album i ever buyed with my own money i had to mow my yard for this cd i was a 200 pound fat boy at age 10 it was so worth it viva INCUBUS!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing I started listening to incubus after Morning View, which is an amazing album, but this is just as awsome ive only listened to a couple songs but so far i like them all im definitly getting my hands on this CD

I've got every Incubus CD and always find myself playing this one while in my car! Trouble in 421G and Sink beneath the line are my top 2 followed by Shaft (which isn't listed for some reason) and The Answer. I wish they'd throw one of these into there live set and watch the pit go NUTS!

Out of all the albums this is my least favorite. Of course it doesn't make me love Incubus any less, I just chalk it up to not understanding and truly appreciating the purpose of this one. Blame it on the Psychopsilocybin ....

What I said for Enjoy Incubus but this is the extended version. Like a rough cut extended version, which makes it very cool & retro

Every time I see Incubus live a small part of me always wishes that they'd just bust out into some fungus amongus. Even if they played a small part of "You Will be a hot Dancer" or "Take me to Your Leader". The very first time I heard this cd, I didn't know what to think of it. The second time, I fell in love. haha. It may not be their best stuff but it's damn good.

Well it is obvious that this album isn't their best. But the funky beats and roots are known through out this album. They hit pretty hard with the rhythms, it just shows that they were a good investment because they have come a long way from this album. Not their best but who is to say it is terrible? Not me, I think it is pretty good.

Take Me to Your Leader has a hillarious video. How did they come up with that video?

i really loved this cd, it was so original and fresh and just out there. its amazing and you should get it if you haven't already

This album was or is great, i first herd it when i was 13, thought it was way too complex for my taste. Than, when i turned 17 and herd it for the first time on mushrooms, i couldnt get enough of it. My favorites are all of the,. but i reall love the way the first half of the album takes u on a trip. The bass lines in Trouble in room 421 are sick, Take me to your leader takes me to outter space, and if i were i stripper, id dance to You Will Be a Hot Dancer!!!! Psychopsilocybin, is sick man!!! listen to it

I think that those who may not get this album may not get the funk side of Incubus. All the songs on this album are so unique and the talent is outrageous. They wrote this when they were 16, and if I could jam like that at 16 I'd be... Well, famous perhaps. In any case, Fungus is awesome and deserves respect. Their following albums rock as well, but there is always a special place in my collection for this one.

This album is funky and fresh-- the beginning of the Incubus era. Without this CD, they wouldn't be Incubus. It defined them in politically, ethically, and virtually. Great sound, great beats, and great fun. This album is the album to begin all albums...

it's always fun to find out what your favorite bands were doing before fame and success became part of their lives. back when they were alot like us, trying to make their mark on this tiny, insignificant planet by doing what they love the most. cheers to incubus! may the true musicians of our time live long and prosper.

sure you can like this cd regardless of hearing the others but points of views are very different. every cd that came our after fungus amongus were great, fail proof cds to jam out to... my first cd was science and from then on got each one as soon as they were new. i did alot of research from different sites as to where i can get this great FUNGUS AMONGUS. finally found it, popped it in and just thought man these guys are awsome. even as teens. in thier potiential state. I STILL LISTEN TO FUNGUS AMONGUS but when others that dont know them too well are listening to it, often will say that it isnt good. hmm.. so dont go bad mouthing the cd unless you know that thats thier first. it was good for a couple of young teens. end of story. THEY ROCKED THE s*** OUT OF IT!

here this cd is the most intresting to me. the years of expermination with drugs and the outcomes were in the lyrics! very creative.
