this was my first love by incubus! i love listening to this while enjoying a nice scooby! it is awesome and i just get so pumped! i love love love it!

This cd is their roots and every song is amazing. This is one of the few cds i can listen to straight through. I wish i was old enough back then to go to their shows when they played songs from S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Fungus Amongus. All in all i loved everything they've done but this cd will be my all time favorite.

This is Incubus' best album I wish they would make some more that sounds like this!!!

Honestly. This is the best album ever. Summer Romance is sooooo soothing and everything else just rocks so hard. Some of the Best Bass lines ever. Dirk was sooooo amazing.

That's all I can say about that.

Oh where oh where did old Incubus go? This album alone shows us that Incubus has done a lot (and i mean A LOT) of changing over the years. But have you ever wondered what great hits they could have produced if they stayed a hard rock, nu-metal band? I do, and it give me chills. Hard Core album. Definitely one of their best.

I love this album! There's so much energy and amazingness! I realy love A Certain Shade of Green, and who couldn't love Summer Romance? So AMAZING! A fun, energetic album!

Great music and by far out of the ordinary. I love it and every time I import Calgone to my computer it is anywhere from 16 minutes to 31 minutes long. HA! love those hidden tracks. And that song is bad ass. I would love Incubus to add more SCIENCE to their set list next time they come around.

easily my favorite album, has something for everyone, funk, bit of metal, house...amazing!i personally listen to this album every morning when im getting ready because it always cheers me up ready for a new crappy day at work or college!

If you are ever introduced to this album, in time you're gonna resort to it. I think it's the biggest thing by Incubus. I don't expect them beat it, but I am so glad they don't forget to play some of its songs in each of their concerts. I simply love it.

This is the album I first heard bits and pieces of. Very first song I ever heard of incubus was glass. I was in 7th or 8th grade and I loved it. Since then I've been an avid listener to the albums. This was the first one I heard though so I have some nostalgia points probably for a review. But there are definitely some great songs on it.

Such a cool work. Really a different side of Incubus. The kind that kicks your ass. The kind I like. "A Certain Shade of Green" is my favorite song off that album. I heard an acoustic version of it and was enamored. When I heard the real version in concert I was pleasantly pleased that it was so rockin!!

And I was so shocked at the sound, which I had never experienced, and I think it awoke me from something!
Vitamin, A certain shade of green,summer romance and Nebula are my favorite.
It's been over 10 ys since it was made but it's still fresh! Thank you very much guys for having introduced this great work to the world!

"S.C.I.E.N.C.E." is Incubus's work of art. This album kicks more ass than any other album I've ever heard--by ANYONE. It's heavy, it's of course funky, and it's real. My Incubus screen name is "Glass_maker" for a reason and that reason is "Glass" is the best song on the entire album. I mean, they all rule, but "Glass" is the ruler. This album compliments the talents of ALL members of the band: DJ Lyfe and his scratching skills, Brandon and his iNsAnE pipes, Jose and his off the wall drumming, Dirk and his funky bass lines, and Mike and his killer guitar rifs.
"A Certain Shade of Green" is the best way for the world to end, honestly. And what is the deal with "Calgone"? That song is so weird and sometimes creepy in only the BEST of ways. Everytime I hear this album, I get a slur of emotions: Happy, when I'm jammin' out to "Glass"; Crazy when I listen to "Vitamin"; and freaked out when I'm trying to comprehend "Calgone". Either way you swing it, this album absolutely rules all other albums.

epic needs to lay off poor incubus and let them make another one like this one. the world needs more music like this. it has the power to change things.

This is going to sound like every other review on here. But for a damn good reason. Cuz it kicks ass! Seriously, if Incubus could go back to making more s*** like this with their current mainstream power then they could take over music for a long god dam time. They would be the rock power house, even more than they are now.

If you don't own this album, go pick it up. If you're poor, download it. I don't care. The actual band will only see about 20 cents of it if you do buy it. So if you feel like supporting some suit's multi million dollar salary then please, go ahead and pay for it.

Anyways, back to the album. Get a sub. You need a sub to listen to this album in it's entirety. It's all about the bass. This is seriously the last great album i've heard where you can actually distinguish the bass guitar from the rest of the music. And it's damn good. If i ever get a million dollars, then i would give it all towards a concert in my backyard with this original incubus lineup. They meshed so well. It sounds fantastic.

Glass is a good track. In fact the first 5 tracks all played in a row is a guaranteed musical orgasm. God i love it. But ya wanna know where it's really at? DEEP INSIDE ! Honestly my favorite incubus song. It's got the funk, a tiny drop of jazz, some heavy layered guitars, and it's all about 'trippin' haha. Somehow the best combination in my short musical life.

Long story short, just go buy it. You won't be disappointed at all. Definately the takes the spot on the top of the CD rack. (Just like everyone else who reviewed this album)

i first heard INCUBUS on this album way back in 1997 in highschool..."Redefine" way played first in NU 107 Home of New Rock (Our Rock Radio Station here in the Philippines....I first bought a cassette of SCIENCE album...then ive found out that this album was excellent! this is the best INCUBUS album of all...(hope DIRK LANCE will come back...)

i have this album for like 8 years now, from casette tape to audio cd... and i must admit that this is THE BEST INCUBUS ALBUM EVER CREATED!

i fell in love with them more when my boyfriend gave me this album. big thanks to him for introducing me to incubus' earlier work.
i wish i started listening to this band much earlier though, i was only a kid when this album was released, and being a girl with mostly female friends then, no one really introduced me to their music until highschool. i can only imagine how different i would've been as a kid if i knew them back then. i've missed out on a lot.

i was ecstatic when they played vitamin live!!! thank you guys for still playing tracks from S.C.I.E.N.C.E. this album gets me through a lot of boring days, you guys are awesome. and yeah, hope you guys come out with more kick-ass tracks like the ones in this album.
