I've always liked Sepultura's Symptoms of the Universe. They did the first two verses and never sang the rest of it. I guess they never knew all of the words.
i cant get enough o American idol's David Cook's cover of Billie Jean. Some argue thats its Chris Cornell's cover. But to me david made it his own.its about his vocals and what he brings to the song. its just different.

I don't think I would consider this a good cover, it is more a funny cover than anything else.
Has anyone heard the Foo Fighters cover of Tiny Dancer by Elton John? It is so funny, Dave Grohl decides he doesn't really want to sing the whole song he just wants to recreate the famous scene from Almost Famous and have everyone sing the chorus. I'm not making this up either, he actually tells the audience that's what he wants to do. If you haven't heard it, I suggest you find it, it's good for a laugh.
