This was my second Incubus concert and I left with the same opinion as I did before.
Being an Incubus old time fan, I can't help but getting frustrated by their live performances.
The band is too perfect live, all the details are there, even if pre-recorded and played by the DJ.
Again, I felt like I was watching a DVD.
Great lights, great musicians, but no warmth (yeah, not even that song).
How can a band leave stuff like New Skin, Certain Shade, Nice To Know You out and play stuff like Are You In? and Love Hurts in front of a crowded audience?
No wonder why their public changed so much. I didn't feel like I was in a rock concert at all.
I love all the songs, though.. so of course I enjoyed it! Just think they have the potential to put out a concert that you'll get home and won't be able to fall asleep.
Rage Against The Machine did this a couple weeks ago.
I thought it was really cool that Mike got into his Gibson SG and played with the same guitar for 90% of the show.
Brandon is an amazing singer.
Strange thing they opened with Quicksand and ended with A. Transmission.
Even though I think those were some of the best songs of the night they do say what the night was... slow from the beginning to the end.
Oh, well.. I love Incubus, even though I disagree with their choices/attitude on stage.
Something missing
