I got into Incubus years ago when my friend played me an acoustic version of "Pardon Me". I instantly fell in love with the voice I heard. I had to know more about them.

When I heard the album version of "Pardon Me", I was blown away. I had never heard such a great sound. I had to absorb as much of this band as I could. Dug around and found "Fungus Amongus" and started my love affair with Incubus... I found myself buying up all the albums and seeing them in concert whenever I got the chance.

Brandon's voice and lyrics was what truly lassoed me in. I saw a picture of him and I was instantly in love. I thought "He matches his voice perfectly".

I listened to the words to all the songs. As a writer myself, Brandon struck a chord somewhere in my soul. I was floored that someone finally connected with me. It was a religious experience (much like the one I experienced when I heard NIN for the first time) and I've been a fan of them ever since.

You should be a fan because Brandon's words, the way in which he sings them and the presence they have as a whole is just phenomenal...
