she's gotta dig Incubus like I do
so, i'm surprised its taken me this long to realise, but the simple fact is that a pre requisite for a future girlfriend is that she has got to love Incubus as much as I do - and thats a damn lot of lovin (could someone who might learn to love them be o.k? - well, maybe, but it might be an awkward first few months - but diamonds and coal right) . The reason is that Incubus' music combined with Brandons lyrics form the musical image of me. Digging Incubus and their music and what they have to say about the world (basically exclusively to) goes way beyond just liking one or two songs and liking some of their catchy hooks and riffs. For me, it speaks volumes about your personality - If somone likes Incubus (and I'm not talking about those fans who thought "Science and Fungus Amongus were killer but now they've turned soft"), likes all of Incubus, then I'm confident I'd dig that person - are they friendlier, easier going, smarter, more articulate? Maybe they, like Brandon himself admits, are just hopeless romantics seeking one of their kind? I'm thinking all of the above.
Man I'd like to see some research on this s***.
So quite appropriately, to quote the coolest band in the world "I'm calling your name, up into the air, not one of the others could ever compare, Anna Molly, Anna Molly Anna Molly!"

i too feel that Incubus is an expression of the soul, something more than just a band but a revolution of truth, beauty, peace and love. i almost feel like their c.d.'s are a religion that i have to listen to everyday, not just on one holy day. They are truly gifted and i wish them nothing but the best in the future. if i had them around i would probably make them dance and sing on stage whenever i felt like it and if they didn't comply i would burn their feet with my lighter. j.k.
and regarding that girl that your searching for just keep looking, you'll find her,especially if it's meant to be. and i'm sure she'll love anything you love, including Incubus.

If you right click on the song in your iTunes library and select show info you can actually change the information there to say whatever you want. If you actually go to the iTunes store it shows the dates the album was really released.

I care a lot about a guy's taste in music...I could never dig a guy that only listens to one genre or that hates rock...(my favourite)...But..luckily I've already found my incu-love. My boyfriend digs incubus a lot...he's older and he's been a fan longer than me...so I can't complain...we went to their concert together and it was an amazing experience!

WTF, lovely??? S.C.I.E.N.C.E was release in 1997 and MY was released in 1999!!!!!! In case you are still confused as to when what album was released I hope the following list clears that up.

That depends on your definition of dig. A lot of girls pretend to love Incubus but really only wanna jump BB. I see them at concerts all the time. They only sing along to singles and look bored during songs from S.C.I.E.N.C.E., they also give me dirty looks b/c I go crazy when they play anything from that album.

Trust me it harder for me to find a Girl here that has listen to Incubus, or even undertsand it (this is a spanish talking country) imagine for a girl that likes it.
I dont know If my girlfriend has to love incubus, the girls I dated (should be around 4 "serious" dating) Hadent even heard abou them until I showed one or two song to them, so I dont expect much about geting a girld that digs incubus, but probably if I find one Im gona dig here. Its not because she likes incubus or such, its just that she´ll surprise me.
As I said in why im a fan? I love music and I lsten to mostly everything from Latin music to classical music, so my music range is very big, and I dont judge by what music you like or who you hang out with, if you give me 5 minutes of your time and ill get to know you, I ll see if you are interesting or not for my point of view.

I don't necessarily think that anybody that goes out with those guys has to love incubus as much as myself, because in that case, it's more about the person than the music, but on the other hand, their music seems to speak greatly about their personalities.
I'm not a person who loves one song because the lyrics are mushy or it's fun to sing along to. Im not a person who loves incubus because "OMG BRANDON BOYD IS SO SEXY" (although that is a major plus, along with Jose, Ben, DJ Killimore, and Mike hahaha)
I love them because their music is like a perfect day, every day. I would love to meet them, to tell them how they've inspired me, how I thank them immensely for the music that they have made. I could close my eyes and just lie on the ground listening to Incubus all day, every day.
