I get the song and all but i Dont know its a simple song, a friend of mine sang it at her wedding, I do feel de feeling of the song and all, but i dont know i think they got better
yeah you maybe right, I do think miss you is a good song. I dont know as I said before it was just a phase I was going through, but I still enjoy listen to it.

"...Im Counting UFO´s..."
Lol yeah, Its a simple love song what could expect, but still I think it has it incubus way of telling. Dunno Im not expecting idiot box lyrics when I listen to love songs. Its like stellar..
Awww!! Rainbowswirl you're
such a sap! =P *lol* Kiddin'!
Yeah, I was like that too with
my Ex. Alas, distance was too
much so meh. But yeah. Southern
Girl is an awesome song.
And Priceless too! =]
You should definitely give it another shot I personally love the beat, and I have seen that face on people so I guess I can relate to the lyrics in that way.
Nice description of your past relationship, I think my b/f and I are well described by Diamonds and Coal. We definitely fight too much, but it is not real fighting, I don't know it is hard to explain. Mostly we just yell at each other but not b/c we are mad, he can frustrate me like no one else, but all he has to do is smile or laugh and I can't stay mad or frustrated.

I actually sat down and read the lyrics of the song just the lyrics and not listening o it, and yeah i thought it ws about that, about realiing how so people are and telling them to fuzz off and that stuff and i actualy enjoyed reading it, ill try to listen to the song now, and see how it goes... I remeber the first song that hook me from ACLOM was southern girl, it was just a phase I was going through when i got the cd I fell in love with a girl from my cinematograpgy group and shes uruguayan, so she was from the south, well uruguay is in south america (between brazil and argentina, a really small country). so it kinda hit a soft spot but in the end i think we were just oil and water.

"...Im Counting UFO´s..."
It is half about telling someone off and half about someone finally realizing what a joke they are to others, and getting to see their reaction. Like, finally figuring out other people think you are full of sh*t. I think it was written about Dirk, but that is strictly my opinion. It is an amazing song and the one I fell in love with first from ACLOTM.

Well yeah i know it was oing to be your opinion and not mine, my opinion right now is that its a dumb song, i havent payed attention to it but i think that even the rythm is to simple for them duuno maybe will listen to it 20 times and end up loving it. The whole idea about hearing others opinion about the song its just to actually do that listen to the song with others pont of views, and thats why ended up putting it in lyrics interpretation.
I suggest you sit yourself down one of these days and listen to Priceless several times, AppleBoy. Though it would be simple for us to give you our own opinion of what it's about, it's nothing but that: our opinion. Dig into it yourself and form your own ideas as to what it's about. Afterwards, maybe we can compare what we learned from it. =]
Lets see if anyone can help me with this son... its the only song i dont actually love of incubus....
Priceless....
I havent paid that much atention to that song maybe that why, but the truth is i think its a stupid song.... can anybody help me with it....
It is all staged. I heard about it from the girl I went to school with who was on there.
She was on a segment where her sister was a lesbian and the girl I went to school with had to pretend to be against their relationship, but she was actually cool with it.

I've always prayed and
hoped that Jerry Springer
is, in fact, just a way to
entertain us. To think that
people like that actually
exist would destroy all
my trust in human beings.
A girl I went to school with was on that show once. Our history teacher let us watch it instead of learning that day. What a constructive way of using the tax payers money.

there is this thought that i have had for the longest and it is that talk shows like jerry springer serve no purpose except to bring people down. its all about the lowest possible common denominator. exploitation. I see him as the devil. he brings out the worst in people and would have us to believe that this is the norm. that its ok. its not. its all so discourageing. i expect more from poeple. it saddens me that we follow so blindly
Lol! Yeah, I've noticed
that there are quite a
few fights going on at
random times. What's
up with that?! Drama
is never cool in my book.
I like being Drama-free!

Hi Kira, after taking the time to search for the older threads, I found one from ittyin81 "The Crow" from Nov. 20, 2007 and one from margiee, " A Crow Left of the Murder Album" from Nov.15,2007. Enjoy
Oops, sorry to have wasted valuable space with repetition. I guess I'm the only person here who hasn't memorized every existing thread on this website.
That song was thoroughly discussed on a different thread that was about the entire album. I guess we all knew that when this thread was created so we didn't duplicate the conversation.

I know sick sad little world and the other songs off ACLOTM, were all mentioned. What about A Crew Left of the Murder itself? First of all, who else would be so clever as to think of that title based on what it means? A murder is a group of crows, and this one crow is on it's own, over at the left of the rest of the crows. It of course can be interpreted to be about your own situations, but I definately think Brandon was talking about Dirk being that crow left of the murder. What do you guys think?
Yeah, Kira, I loved your interpretations. You were right on with the Light Grenades one, how we need to stop with the destruction and chaos. It is like an explosion of a grenade, a new thought, to think differently, to see the light. A light grenade. That is what Brandon said somewhere in an interview.
Oh snap. I guess I forgot to add that one bit. ^^;
But yeah, I totally agree with you on that as well.
And Echo is my favourite love song. Like. Ever, haha.
Mostly I agree with your interpretation, I have to disagree some with the one for Echo. It is about what you said, but it is also about much more. It is definitely a love song, it is like he is saying that the one thing he is truly afraid of is love, and that is what will save him.

But Stellar has better lyrics, if I had to compare the simplicity of the lyrics I would have to compare it to I Miss You, which is a way better song.

I don't think the lyrics are very good, except the chorus. BB can do better, it is such a simple song.

"So come outside and walk with me
We'll try each other on to see if we fit
And with our roots, become a tree
To shade what we make, under it
We'll behave like animals
Swing from tree to tree
We can do anything
That turns you up and sets you free
You're an exception to the rule
You're a bonafide rarity
You're all I ever wanted
Southern girl
Could you want me?"
I think its a good song...
