For men who listen to Incubus
I sorry but as a man, I hate the fact that my favorite band is getting EVEN SOFTER because they realized ,after the release of "Drive", that they could make more money playing soft-woman friendly songs than when they played hard rock and had mosh pits at the concerts. Their songs are also not as deep as before. think of the lyrics to "Redefine" and compare them to the song "Love Hurts" and you will see how they are sort of mailing it in now-a-days.

love makes you feel alive, WOW that song is really deep, NOT
There new CD isnt all bad but it is their worst CD ever,(if you dont agree, listen to their older, better stuff)
I want to hear feedback from fans that is an actual, fact-based argument or agreement
I dont want women saying,"Be nice, Brandon is cute" that is not a good argument
Dont get me wrong , i do and always will listen to Incubus but i just want to be able to buy any new CD's and enjoy them n if they get softer or just abandon their hard rock roots ll just have to keep listening to S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Make Yourself

i can't agree with what you'r saying because music has to evolve;
just like everything in life has to change as well.
Everything that they have done so far is hands down brilliant;
whether it is soft or hard. They are amazing because they have
shown that they can produce music on every level.
I can almost guarantee that they will turn it around and get back
to a more harder sounding album. Remember life changes
and sooner or later always reverts back to the beginning.

I disagree with you. Light Grenades may have been a bit softer but it still had loud tracks as well. Rogues, Pendulous Threads, Anna Molly, and A Kiss To Send Us Off were all awesome and they're lyrics were thoughtful. Love Hurts is really the only "bad" song on the CD but still it's not horrible. And of course the guys are not gonna be singing with the same angst as they were during the days of Fungus Amongus and SCIENCE. They are in their 30's now and of course their lyrics are going to reflect more "mature" themes. It's just now the band is starting to make the ratio between the softer and harder tracks more equal. And that part about Brandon being cute, how would that be an argument? Sure he's a good looking guy but I don't see how that has anything to do with the music. Just my two cents.

they evoluted as a band! i love VITAMIN OR CSOG as I love AKTSUO,paper shoes or mexico!
they are a fabulous band, because they a have lots of AMAZING TYPES OF SONGS!

Sorry but i dont agree with you....
A crow left the murder its relatively new cd and i even think is harder and better than science, even though i have more fun listening to science. Their lyrics and style its much better in A Crow.
I like the Light granades album its not my favorite but for me song like dig, pendelous threads, a Kiss are great song Even Earth to bella i dont know why but they have to be in mp3 player.

i dun tink they specifically wanted to do "soft-woman friendly songs". i tink it's just how their music matured over da years. they don't just hafta do mosh-able songs, they can be great band with just mellow tracks. it's da meaning behind their songs, and like they said before, they make music for themselves, and if other people like it, then great, if not, tt's they issue.
Please explain how an anime character can be sexier than a real person.
