I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
...let me give you a little background...
I missed out on Incubus during their heyday of Make Yourself and Morning View, etc. How, I have no idea, but I managed to bypass the magical music of Incubus. So I was 16, riding in a car with my father and I made him turn it to Ames 105.1 Channel Q - the only alternative rock radio station in Iowa. Some god-awful My Chemical Romance song was on and then Anna Molly followed it. I'd never heard it before and I was amazed at how awesome it was. Once I found out it was Incubus, I was like, 'oh. Didn't they sing Drive and Wish You Were Here?' And I immediately downloaded Light Grenades, Morning View, Make Yourself, and ACLOTM... from iTunes. Anna Molly has been my favorite song ever since and has been played 500+ times on my iPod in just over a year.
I went to a concert in Minneapolis with a couple of my friends and my dad. My pop said he'd never been to a better concert besides Van Halen back in the 80s... (He later said the fact that the arena was a literal hotbox of marijuana helped with the experience.)
I burned my friends some Incubus songs and got them hooked on them. They all liked them so much they went out and purchased the albums just to say thanks for making such godlike music.
I'm so happy I finally found the holy grail of music. Better late than never!
