I adore art and clip impressed me.
then I decided to hear the guys because the TV was on mute.
I began to research about the band and when I heard other songs I became a incubus fan.

Oh man, f**k that! What's normal? MAKE YOUR OWN NORMAL!!!!

I heard Drive and had it on a CD for a while before I actually watched the video and saw the band.

I wore that freakin' CD out.

I'm also very much an artist and appreciated the vid a whole lot, oh...and the fact that the singer, whose voice I had fell in love with, turned out to be quite eye rotteningly sweet, hadn't diminished my love for the song either.

I never saw the video for Drive until after Morning View came out.

"For every one thing we're ignorant of
a thousand more things beat the maze"

The first time i heard and saw Incubus was on either VH1 or MTV. I must admit i was going
who is this guy in the "Foxy Grandma" t-shirt? But when i went to Lollapalooza mostly to see
a couple of other fave bands, Incubus was there and they captured me and no one has been
able to hold a candle to them since. Goes to show that first impressions shouldn't always be
taken so seriously and you can't judge a book by its cover, so to speak. By the way, that first
song was "Drive"....... and Brandon can wear anything he wants to, and my opinion of him as
an artist and beautiful person will never change. I'd actually prefer he wear nothing! Smiling

woooooow!
it's been so long!
I think the first song I even heard by them I was in second grade maybe?
I believe it was Drive.
What a wonderful song!

i'll never act my age =)

The first Incubus song I ever heard was Summer Romance (Anti-gravity Love Song) when i was like, 15.

The first song I heard was " Pardon Me" I saw a clip of a concert performance on MTV. But It wasn't until "Drive" that I became a fan.

i tak eit back! it was Nice to Know You. My cousin always listened to Morning View in her car... so since nice to know you is the first track on the album its the first i heard.

"A Certain Shade Of Green" was the first I heard from Incubus. At first, I really didn't know what to think about it, then it just grew on me, and I've been a fan ever since!!

I was 12 when S.C.I.E.N.C.E came out and MTV Europe was still broadcasted in the Netherlands (it's MTV NL now) then I saw the clip of A Certain Shade of Green and I bought the album because it sounded too cool Laughing out loud and I adored RHCP and RATM then (I still do tbh)

After S.C.I.E.N.C.E I just bought every album as soon as it came out Smiling

It always felt like quicksand to me.

The whole make yourself, because I hadn't heard anything of Incubus, nether on T.V. nor radio. So Privilege it's the first song I've heard from Incubus.

first was drive from karoke and i thought the song was just amazing! then i heard stellar on guitar hero, it was my favorite! its the only song i can play upside down. but after i heard those i looked them up and now i absolutely love them!

First song i heard was Drive,
I loved it my boyfriend hated it at the time because here in the UK they were being called 'The New Red Hot Chilli Peppers' lol but he got over it when he heard Pardon me.
We both bought Incubus CD's and have been huge fans ever since!

i love the song pardon me!!!!
gets me everytime! lol
cheers

Favorite Things

I heard it on the radio of all places for this song. I bought the album and have not stopped listening to it since. I saw somewhere they played it during sound check at one show but they have not played it during this tour. I would cream my pants if they play it in PHX tomorrow!!!

I was like 15 years old when I found a song named "pardon me" in my cousin's computer, i listened to it and I fall in love instantly with the group.

I was chatting with this girl online and told me to check out this song that sounded pretty awesome. I was into hard stuff like korn and limp bizkit among other things. So i downloaded pardon me and fell in love with it instantly. i got a couple more songs but truly fell in love with incubus as an artist when the pardon me acoustic version was first available.
I started buying up the albums and they are easily my favourite band!
Cheers

Well, the first song that i heard was "Drive".I was a little girl,I used to hear all my sister's music. If she was hearing something I heard with her.She introduced me to the music(rock, alternative). But there's something amazing:Since 1999(Year I heard "Drive") I didn't listen to Incubus until 2004 "A crow left of the murder".Yeah! I lost too much.I'm sad because it.
Maybe, one of the reasons that I couldn't find more about the guys , was that I live in a country where people don't listen to bands like our guys. They prefer Green day ,Chemecal Romance(now),No doubt, etc(I don't like them).
Some years ago, started to play a new radio. This time, however, they played more of INCUBUS and I begun to hear again.I was excited, all the new songs of "A crow left of the murder" were perfect.....

Que fácil es... abrir tanto la boca para opinar! Y si te piensas echar atrás TIENES MUCHO BARRO QUE TRAGAR.

I hated Incubus when i first heard them
the first song i heard was something from a crow left to the murder
mind you i hated most things at that point in my life
then i started listening to the lyrics
and fell in love with the music
i then of course saw brandon and knew i would forever be hooked

about six years ago i was smoggin out my car with my best friend wesley D. and i was looking through his cd's and found morning view...didnt kow who incubus was at the time....i asked him what "morning view" was and he said it was his older brothers cd and he had never listen to it....well we continued to smog my car while i put the cd in...you probably know what happend after that...it was like the changing point in my life...i will never be able to thank incubus enough for the gift that they gave me that day.

the first time that listened incubus was the science album ....then about one year i knew the band (faces) ....since listened science i love incubus and of course started to buy all the albums like fungus amongus ...and then make yourself ...and all...

Drive was my first listening experience to Incubus. I'd never watched MTV, nor saw the video. I was in my car, driving north and enjoyed the song. It wasn't until Dig that I felt a tug on my life. I suddenly needed to communicate with people, moreso than I usually do (whic surprisingly is a lot!) . I want to involve myself more & meet like minded people who want to improve the Earth and feel good about themselves. I'm learning more about music and life thanks to Incubus.

My 1st encounter with Incubus was during a Headbangers Ball show on MTV.They played A Certain Shade of Green and I was hooked!!!The lyrics struck and stuck...and the video most definitely stood out...that's how the affair began.I was about 16 and an avid Pearl Jam before that...still am...just...INCUBUS ROCK!

nothin to say

the first time i heard of incubus was back in 1999 when they came out with there "make yourself" ep...and saw their drive video on good ol mtv. good ol high school days, as soon as i got my first job i started buying all there old stuff and been a fan since. its awesome to stumble upon good music, nothing beats these guys though.

When MTV played the video Drive too much. Shocked

I'd have to say the first I heard of them was probably their old records fungus amongus and SCIENCE. My sister used to put it out loud and I loved it. Actually I think that was by the time Make Yourself was out. So I became a fan since then. I share all my good Incubus moments with my sister. We're both huge fans.

I suppose I first heard of them when I started to watch music videos on TV way back when. 'Drive' was the first song I heard, & I always loved the video because of the animation. Been a fan ever since. Smiling

i was 13 or 14 when i first heard the album make yourself
my best friend at the time, and still close friends now, [and neighbors since i was 12]
we use to sit in her living room floor hang out with her older brother, who is a fanatic when it
comes to good music, his music collection is to DIE FOR.
and for which seems forever, everyday we listened to the make yourself album
and the hybrid theory album by linkin park.
i was inlove with the whole cd. and we look back now, and see
how i became an automatic incubus fan, and went back and fell inlove with all their music
and my friend now is a HUGE linkin park fan. so this is for jason! =]

Choose a New. Please Evolve. Take Flight

i think the first time i heard of incubus i was sitting on the couch watching tv, (i was 12 then) and the ad for morning view came on and i saw them all running away from the crowd of girls.....i thought it was really gay! which it was that vid was really crap lol but i loved the song (wish you were here) and now they're my favorite band ever!!
