I only listed Make a Move b/c it was a single even though it was not on an Incubus cd. I wouldn't list Look Alive b/c it is not a single.

You are right. Anyway I think Look Alive need to be placed. Like "Make A Move", it is nice that there is another song that does not belong to the CD.

By new song, I meant an unreleased song. Look Alive has already been released and since we are discussing something that may happen in the future, it won't even qualify as a new song then.

Not that I want it to happen but.... if it did, the first thing you need to do is automatically include all of their singles. That is typically what Greatest Hits albums are made of. Second, add at least one new song b/c that seems to be what every artist does on Greatest Hits cds now (how can it be a Greatest hit if it hasn't been released before, are you predicting it will be well received?). That already brings the song count to 18 which is more than is on a typical Incubus CD and does not include any future singles from future albums, so it probably will be a double disc set.

I think a greatest hits album happens years after they have stopped writing new songs or can't write new songs and also not touring anymore. And need to generate some money or interest. I wouldn't say it would never happen though. You never know. I would think when their in their 50s or 60s maybe.

I'm not thinking it's a way of selling out. It just gives their fan base what it wants... I personally own every Incubus CD and DVD released so I could always make my own. I'm just thinking logistically, profitable (for the band) and yet another Incubus thing for me to scoop up =)

Opinions are free to be posted on the forum, Rainbowswirl is just as entitled to be completely anti - Greatest Hits as (s)he wants to be...

Azwethinkweiz will never be on a greatest hits album, b/c the band claims to not even know how to play it anymore. If it were to be on a greatest hits album, then they would be expected to play it live.

I really hope that Incubus does not release a greatest hits album, EVER! I hope they take the route that Cake took and say that a greatest hits album takes away from the integrity of the album the songs originally came from and is a sign of selling out.
