Well this could get very personal, or it could not, I'm not quite sure what path I may go down on this. I have played instruments in the past, many, MANY instruments, but I could never stick with one. Although I currently do not play an instrument, I still have an overwhelming love for music. Don't we all, though? Music can change your mood in the time it takes your brain to register the music playing. It can bring up old memories you haven't thought about for years, it can inspire you to make something of yourself. It can have a good effect or a bad effect, but music will NEVER be bad. Sure, lyrics can be profane, violent, or explicit, but if you just listen to the music, and only the music, it almost feels as if you can detach your mind and body. Incubus has brought something to the table for me which I cannot even describe. Their music is some of the most amazing that I have ever heard. I like all music really, depending upon my mood, but I'm much more of a laid back soul, reggae, ect. type person. But listening to Incubus is always something totally different for me. I can close my eyes and feel totally at peace no matter my situation. Everything always seems to come together so beautifully in all of their songs, and each one amazes me in a different way. Of course I would one day love to meet the masterminds behind Incubus, but not because I'm some insane groupie that thinks they're SoOoO hOt hahaha. I would love to meet the people whose music has helped me make the good times great, and the bad times easy to handle. I do not understand how a person could NOT love this band. They are like a once in a lifetime experience, and I only have thanks and gratitude to give to them. INCREDIBLE.
