I can accept the majority of people maybe opting for Morning view over ACLOTM because it was absolute genius, and it was sort of the warm-up album for aclotm. However, the 4th place in the poll is a utter joke. Its one of the greatest albums of all time, let alone incubus' best album. Thats people though, guess they cant see ACLOTM for the legendary album it is.
Hypothetically, if the band wanted to see what sort of album to make next on the basis of the majority of peoples choice, a Morning view-esque type album would be great.. but not as great as A crow. Think before you vote ppl

I loved incubus from enjoy incubus to a crow left of the murder, but was let down with their lates album, Light Grenades. Most favorite piece of art from Incubus has to be S.C.I.E.N.C.E.
Ok listen up. First off i atleast have some faith in incubus fans for choosing morning view as the best, but seriously, light grenades? Above SCIENCE? Above fungus amongus? Even above make yourself? What the hell. I mean my honest favorite is fungus amongus, but it was experimentalish and it does lack a little public appeal. But SCIENCE hit it right on the money. That is a bad ass album and everybody i show that to wants a copy after i play it.
The rest all kind of wash up in that mix. But thank god, cuz Morning view is the best out of that wash. Truly the best incubus album to listen to from beginning to end.
I mean all light grenades is, considering what you believe, is just another album on incubus' contract and they don't have to do anything special or any cool s*** as long as the producer likes it and it can sell records to little girls that wanna see brandon with his shirt off. And as long as all you panzies keep buying that crap because it's "Well advertised", then they'll keep makin' it. There's no good leads. There's no good breakdowns. You've lost all of the sweet bass licks that incubus is known for. Whoever reviewed the album was most likely paid thousands for it cuz it talks about how well-crafted it was compared to their other albums. Totally untrue. Wow. Couldn't even believe that when i read it.
Bottom line, I like the list for the most part. Good job people, but for god sakes put light grenades on like 4th or 5th. It lacks everything and every reason i got into incubus in the first place. Disappointing

Hi everyone... I'm kind of new here..... but I really like The morning view album, cause... to me.. its like a diferent point of view of music in that specific time... and still sound refreshing to listen... Love It!!
As a bassist, ACLOTM was the favourite due to the exploration into technical riffs, some BASS soloing and also the introduction into the new genre. Its not just a good riff with distortion, its got some complexity to it. 'imawhale' is right, i do believe ACLOTM is the point of evolution and it sounds great!! On ya Ben!!

Saw them when I was17 for the first time Live @ Wolves Civic Hall in 2002, Absoloutly F**king Amazin, the BEST GIG I have ever bin to! Saw them again @ NEC B'ham in 2004 Rockin' Hard and again they dint not disapoint.

What can I say. This album just did it for me. It made my world a little bit brighter and made me sing a little bit louder. There wasn't just one song that I loved on it, I just feel in love with the whole thing. Don't get me wrong I love Morning View (Are you in?) and S.I.E.N.C.E., but Make Yourself seemed like a good combination of the two. Of course there is always Fungus Amongus...but to me that album is in it's own group because it's so diverse. All of their aulbums have been amazing and the band never fails to amaze me with how original and unique they are. Even at the ripe old age of 30 they still know how to rock!
Personally S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is f***in amazing. But every CD is just Dope. Some of my favorite songs were on Morning View. But Light Grenades is just perfect, they came back good. A Kiss to Send Us Off... Its just the best song ever and only a handful would really understand that song.

My preferences change frequently, but usually between ACLOTM, Morning View, and Make Yourself.
ACLOTM - songs such as Megalomaniac, A Crow, Talk shows, Agoraphobia, Beware!, SSLW, and Made for T.V. All of them absolute gold in my opinion, but maybe not the easiest listening relative to morning view.
Morning View - I really like every song on this album, but Wish you were here, 11am, Mexico, and Warning really hit the spot for me. I would prefer this album to any other on a long car journey, it's actually soothing in some ways.
Make Yourself - I like every song here except for Battlestar (not really my taste in music). Drive was the first Incubus song I ever heard, and the song that got me interested. The Warmth is another classic from my childhood, and Stellar. Make yourself and Pardon me are also recently acquired favourites.
To be honest I haven't listened a lot to SCIENCE or Fungus, but the songs I have heard, I do not feel as attached to as those of the other albums. I don't think Brandon uses his voice as well as he does later in Incubus' career, he seems sort of stuck between shouting and the softer, more clever use of his voice in the later albums.
Alright so opinions, opinions. Personally Make Yourself has stood the strongest to what I would have to say "its right on the burner, front burner" its kind of like a - bible- well to me at least . I mean it starts out with; Privilege - The day you were born, you were born free That is your privilege. - What more can you ask for? Then after your'e born and learn to be a person. You wonder where your going and when you'll get there and how. And When you get there - will you "know" when your there. You may not understand at all but Its; Nowhere Fast. Could Ya care, Couldcha NOT? Who knows.
I know Consequences, learned em young real young. Cause and Affect, with and drawl, I Don't. Call it karma call it Nelly thought s*** was Jelly. You better think fast. it's a bigger word than you think...... you OR me. *wink* And Often enough the world brings us all down. The Warmth and Clean are very Thick in texture to me They flow through me so evenly, almost floating on numbness, darken colorful hues of saline rushing slowly throughout me, from peoples intentions. People forget their real INDIVIDUALITY The Warmth always takes my imagination. To me this song a has a real Core to it.
Clean - This song breaths its own air to me. Boyd is this Seriously Fed up Dragon ready to breath his fire. Its like he is approaching the situation so settle. Slowly killing with kindness. Some Dirt of your shoulder in the end. Vocally, lyrically and instrumentally driven this song is - Clean. I really appreciate this album Its almost seems as each song has been perfectly numerically ordered. Its life;
Drive is very straight to the point simple and necessary all the way around. In every aspect of life you are behind the wheal. And Last but not at all least; Make Yourself - its not a question. Nor and answer, but a demand. In a world where Michael Jackson wants to be Elizabeth Taylor. you can't let them make you. Almost like survival of the fittest. What you eat is what you are. To go where no man has gone before. Only you can make yourself. And you should !

Next for me would have to be Enjoy Incubus....

Well, all of dem are damn good but for me, Morning View has something... I don't know if it was the way of recording the entire album but it's sound is so cool!
As a lot of people have commented on, its very hard to choose a favourite Incubus album, as they all have such excellent songs, all varying in a range of music so its quite hard to compare them, but after thinking for awhile I'd have to say that S.C.I.E.N.C.E is my favourite Incubus album at this moment. Luckily I usually dont have to choose as, even though I own them all, I put them all on an Mp3 CD a couple of months ago and just put that on repeat for a good range. Lets not forget the 2 extra tracks on 'Enjoy Incubus' though (I have noticed a lot of people mention them, a great thing to see).
It is really hard to give an opinion on this. Until Make Yourself they follow "a certain behavior". Make yourself was a smooth album, but with the same essence. The last 2 albums, i have to admit, that first i need to listen them at least 2 or 3 times before start to "comprehend" and love them, especially for a crow left of murder. Anyway the best album for me is Make Yourself, in second place the rest, except for a crow left of murder, which for me, occupies the last place jeje.

Incubus is one of my top fav bands......but S.C.I.E.N.C.E. tops my list of incubus albums......THAT is CLASSIC incubus! I enjoy every incu album......but I feel that the band has been catering to the mainstream since the success of Make Yourself......Light Grenades was the first incubus album to not stay in heavy rotation in my cd player/ipod............the band produces radio friendly songs....a perfect example of that is 'wish you were here'.......my least favorite song off of 'Morning View'........even during performances the radio friendly songs get played more than the better incubus tracks.....though I continue to love these guys......S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is still Incubus at their rawest....gritiest and in my personal opinion....at their best.....I stronly urge fans that came on during the Make Yourself album or later to go back to Incubus' pre-fame days.....

SCIENCE is by far the best album. i've followed this band for a really long time. The crowd and following has changed drastically. Incubus used to be at Ozzfest where they rocked, toured with Deftones and Taproot. Science is a unique album, my opinion there best album
this 5 album that y have been mate its so best and its never lost from my side,its so inspire me for the new patern or grove from mr jose passilas sticking and kicking the drum,yam always use this patern for my music,even y play a reggae music,its so roxx roxx roxx and jazzy,so please dont left that kind a part,hope 1day you will listen all your fans for your next projeck.

Better off underground?
Incubus is one of my top fav bands......but S.C.I.E.N.C.E. tops my list of incubus albums......THAT is CLASSIC incubus! I enjoy every incu album......but I feel that the band has been catering to the mainstream since the success of Make Yourself......Light Grenades was the first incubus album to not stay in heavy rotation in my cd player/ipod............the band produces radio friendly songs....a perfect example of that is 'wish you were here'.......my least favorite song off of 'Morning View'........even during performances the radio friendly songs get played more than the better incubus tracks.....though I continue to love these guys......S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is still Incubus at their rawest....gritiest and in my personal opinion....at their best.....I stronly urge fans that came on during the Make Yourself album or later to go back to Incubus' pre-fame days.....

i love each and every album. i think they have their own feel or mood to each album . i love the early and newer stuff. have been a fan for forevs. i feel they put out whatever mood they are in or situation they're going thru at the time. i cant get enough. i definitely feel that they have their own style and put out what they want. so much love to you incubus. love yall.

SCIENCE
SCIENCE is by far the best album. i've followed this band for a really long time. The crowd and following has changed drastically. Incubus used to be at Ozzfest where they rocked, toured with Deftones and Taproot. Science is a unique album, my opinion there best album
