I agree that some of his best writing is done when angry. I love Leech, Priceless, Blood on the Ground, Glass, Have you Ever and Clean. I want more angry Incubus.

I hope someone pissed off BB... He seems to write better songs when he's angry. I thought a lot of songs on ACLOTM and Light Grenades were a bit too soft. Although, I'm not going to lie, I get chills at 2:14 of "Quicksand" and 0:08 of "A Kiss..."

Beautiful-- but I want to rock. That's why Incubus is a rock band.. I want something more along the lines of "Make Yourself" or the good songs on ACLOTM ("Pistola", "Sick Sad Little World", "Priceless"...)

I know this sounds horrible but I hope he's not in love while writing this album. ACLOTM was a bit too whiny for my tastes and he was with Carolyn then. I prefer a pissed off, observant of society Brandon.

It seems all the people who really understand the record companies and their evil ways are in agreeance on the whole "give music away". Trent Reznor helped Saul Williams release "The Rise and Fall of Niggy Tardust" without a record label intervening. Fans could donate $5 if they really liked the music, and if they didn't have the $5, or they felt like it wasn't worth it, they didn't have to pay for it. I think it's a great idea and more bands should be like Radiohead, NIN or Incubus.

Well it is nice to know he's not offended that I tend to "steal" most Incubus stuff first, then buy the album. I also agree that most bands today are a quick fad, and then you never hear of them again. It is not as easy to make it in that industry and remain relevant. Kudos guys.
