pardon me....i let my "people skills" slack. this "newbie" didn't
introduce properly, so HEY ALL, i'm liluth. i've got a way to go
before i reach "mega" or "super" fan status on this forum, but I
promise i am already a extra maximized Incubus fan in heart &
soul. in 2003 i went to my 1st Lollapallooza mainly to see Jane's
Addiction and Audioslave. Audioslave was "tight" and Cornell
will always be one of my favorite vocalists alone or in a band....
but the guys as a unit, just didn't seem to be into their gig that
night. Perry and Dave ( and mates) were having some serious
P.A. problems, no fault of their own--s*** happens--but it did
effect their gig majorly. But actually Incubus had already been
up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. I begin to buy
all the earlier cds and research the web and any other means
to learn more about these guys, and the more i became know-
ledgeable in their bio and music i was hooked......and 5 years
later no one has come in to lead me away from putting them
being # 1. and whether standing in line before a show, or
hanging at backstage door (and actually getting lucky!), at
book signings or whatever, i find overall most Incubus fans
seem to be good people. So, i decided to plunge in here to
exchange gab and such else.....Cheers!

hi liluth.....i'm a newbie too!! one newbie to another...greetings!! don't worry,
i haven't introduced myself yet either, still mostly reading other peoples
opinions, ideas, ect. i also saw lollapallooza in 2003. i had several faves
perform, but it was my 1st incubus show too! with their exceptional unique
performance and their rugs, lava lamps, chuck banner ( i was puzzled with
that one a long time - ha) i too became a immediate and die hard fan.
Cheers back at ya!! Where did you see the festival in 2003?
