Mike Einziger's Orchestral Project

A bit back I read on ultimate-guitar that Einziger was possibly working on an Orchestral project, and i was wondering if anyone out there had any information on it.

I think it is really cool that they have all branched out and found their "own thing", but that it has not effected the band as a whole.

Time Lapse Consortium was a jazz big band formed right before ACLOTM. they only performed a couple of times (jimmy kimmel, roxy theater), so im sure its something different. I bet suzie katyama will help him with the project like she did with aqueous transmission and TLC. i wonder if he will incorporate the guitar or any other incubus members into the symphony. perhaps classical guitar? no matter what he does, its gonna be amazing!

If he's really working for that..then it will be awesome! It is worth to wait

I have read interviews where Mike said he was working on a symphony, but I don't know the status of that project.

True, and i have heard of the Time Lapse Consortium, but this article was pretty recent. It led me to believe this was an upcomming project. It caught my attention after i became a fan of the Odyssey Movements on the Halo 2 album. And i seem to remember reading in the article that the Orchestral Project would be a full cd of instrumentals. Im not the most familar with the TLC, but im under the impression that it isnt exactly what im referring to. Either way, i hope einziger does compose a full-orchestra symphony. Instrumentals blow my mind.

I think he had formed a orchestral type of band way back in 2003 and he named it time lapse consortium..He made this side project before the ACLOTM album came out...The Time lapse consortium also includes jose and ben...They have made a very good lounge version of Certain shade of green which also features brandon boyd on vocals...
