an extremely old newbie.
okay, hi everyone. neebula here.
here's the deal.
i went here yesterday. then i decided to sign in to my account that i made during the ACLOTM days. then they said there was no such user. so i stared at my computer when realization kicked in. did they DELETE the members of the old forum? please answer me. i'm wondering.
gah.
by the way, obviously the title of my blog means that i'm a newbie to this.. err, new forum (like i stated above because of the deleting crap). but i've been here since ACLOTM so i guess i'm pretty old around here too. did that even make sense? hahaha.
oh and i was just wondering.

I don't think it necessarily has to do with them actual being annoying individuals, but more so the indignant (is that a word?) grumble of one community being imposed on by members from another community.
It's kind of like having your in-laws over at your house.

I've been trying to search out all of our old users. I've been meaning to come around here and IncubusOnlineView to recruit some people. I've found 40ish of us so far. We're thinking about buying our own site seeing as how James won't surrender the Incuboard.com domain to us. He says that he's eventually going to get it running again. But in the meantime, if you'd like, you can visit us (and help us make fun of Jason).
We're pretty much innocuous at the moment. We're in need of fresh blood too, so newbies are most welcome.
To prove our pedigree, most of us have been using the Incubus forums / Incuboard for the past 7 years or so. While we don't have a bunch of the real old school users, we do have Mike, Dan, Leanne, Maris, Josh, Jason, Julie, Heather, Deb, Drew, Nat, Jay, Nele, Eric, Jenna, Skye, Cassie, Allison, Sandy, Paola, Ryan, Andrew, Nigel, Rob, Jose and of course, myself (Jessica).

Andi hasn't been on the incuboard in foreverrrrrrrrr. I don't know the people mentioned in the original post...I don't think they were actual members of the "incuboard", maybe the board on this site before this one. Everyone just kind of boycotted Sony and started using James' Incuboard. Yep. So you're not even a newb, the people here are more newbs than you are.

Yes they deleted all of the old usernames when they revamped the site. I don't know of any "old" forum members except Skye and I don't recognize any of the names you listed above. Sorry if this wasn't helpful.
