I'm a fan because......i can't think of a great band or musicians or songwriters and alike that has great influence and touched people's lives....since THE BEATLES. yeah, several musicians have been successful mainly because of having the most awards and numbers of sold records...but is that how a successful artist be rated? I'd say ONLY ONE if not VERY FEW are like INCUBUS. And they have been around for more than a decade....and yet fans old and young are still loyal to the band's creativity. And many from the new generation are coming and getting to love them (including my nephew and his friends haha) who were just about 2 years old when Incubus started. I started to listen to Incubus on their SCIENCE album and from then on I researched on their earlier works and from then on, i have been following their music(well, i am not the kind who follows them everywhere!) . I love their music because i got attracted with their approach..it's unique(turn-table) sound effects which most would thought turn tables scratching is good for hiphop only...but who would think it could create such beautiful and creative effect on rock metal kind of music? And the main reason too is the LYRICS....and that's what i always look in a song....meaningful lyrics. Deep, sensible, honest, bold....that everyone can relate. REDEFINE caught my attention when i first heard it, the lyrics have strong impact. But when i heard DRIVE, wow, it touched, if not, shook my very soul....this song really slapped me in the face! That i let fear take the wheel and steer.....it inspired me a lot and gave me something to think about my life, myself and face my fears....and how thankful I am that this song, that this band and their music have been truly become the SOUNDTRACK of my life.....

I would like to compare Brandon as the next John Lennon when it comes to songwriting.
The humility, the enthusiasm, the loyalty, the "down-to-earth", no rock star attitude of all band members......
It's simply amazing...
