why nov 11th? why 1984?
i keep wondering about certain things from incubus' lyrics.
why nov 11th in "a kiss to send us off"?
why the year 1984 in "talk show on mute"?
why "southern girl"? did any of the band member experienced something with a southern girl?
is "leech" true? did a musician or a band did that to them?
there are still others that i'm curious about.
i'll update when i remember them

that 2012 A.D. something is from a certain shade of green chorus and i think it is a mayan belief that this will be the year the world will end..Incubus really does read a lot of books and knows a lot of things and it's very good for them..
Well my theory on the date November 11 is that brandon believes on that Mayan calendar theory which mentions that the earth will receive some sort of energy.. but thats december 12 2012.. so im thinking he just subtracted a day and a month from that date.

you know i used to have a boyfriend that on certain days we would watch the clock turn 11:11, accidently. we regarded it as a bad omen and used to think that something was going to happen on nov 11; maybe that our world would throw us into a state of complete chaos, but nothing happened. i was also born in 1984 on the beautiful caribbean island of D.R., in the month of may. After i broke up with him he called me a blood sucking leech.
