Most of songs that Incubus sings, are songs about forgiving yourself, also loving yourself so i would say that the messages of those songs influenced my life. Songs like Make Yourself, Earth to Bella, The Warmth, Warning, pretty much every song on Make Yourself. And there what got me into rock music.

I remembered the first time that I saw Incubus...
I was watching the TV and I was so bored.But Mtv put on air a beautiful song... it was so sweet,the melody was simply great and when the singer started to sing I grew up pale... goddamn,he had such an amazing voice!!!
So I remained in front of the screen,watching the video about five guys who were at a party... they were very good... and that song... I didn't remind the title,just some words...like...Uhh uh uh uhh...pacintuntann(this should be the drums)...are you iiiiiiiin...
Yeah,that was the sweetest song I've ever heard.
From that moment I found out INCUBUS...and yeah,they had really influence my life...

Like many other fans that share a love of brilliant music, when I'm listening to incubus I go to another place the words move me and I become imerced in the song. No other musicians (except for Jeff Buckley) have affected me in such a way.Brandon has a way of drawing you into the song and makes you feel what he feels when he is singing amazing stuff.

it's funny. Incubus has brought me closer to God. I don't know if that is any of their intention in creating music. But the fact that God has given me this band that makes me so thrilled to be alive is really a blessing. oh yeah, and they f***ing rock.

incubus changed my life in 1999 i heard make yourself and its radiating positivity made me quit drugs and stay at school and get my life back on track i owe them so much. my life really, i tend to forget that as i'm not too keen on their latest releases. but back then it really pulled me out of some bad times.

In my case, besides of the letters that remains deep inside of my head, when I'm listening Incubus I forget my problems, my worries, my insecurities... everything! And I focus myself just in music. Nothing left, nobody around. Not important. Just Incubus

Incubus to me, is one of the most incredible bands around right now. The music is ingenious and every album is individually unique. The words are poetry. Some of their songs come close (in my eyes) to something Jim Morrison might have composed.

It always felt like quicksand to me.

Every time I listen to Incubus I get happy.. If I start a day off with listening to Incubus, I go on smiling for the rest of the day.... especially if a watch a concert or a clip of them live!
When they're playing warning I start to cry almost everytime:p I love that song<3

thats awesome that they affected you in such a positive way like that.
You dont hear many people say something like that about a mainstream band.

Well,their art showed me a WHOLE NEW aspect of life,made me appreciate the beauty of details and the smallest stuff that surrounds us more,reminded me that not everyone here is that f***ed up and cold,and amongst tens of other extremely positive and humane lessons taught me there's nothing wrong with being,well...ME!

They have helped me learn more about buddhism
when i was researching brandons tattoo, i had no idea what it was for the longest time. after i found out about it, i loved the aum mani padme hum, so they definitely affected me spiritually.
Also emotionally, i totally feel emotionally connected to many of their songs because of phases i was in at that time i heard certain songs!
