I saw Incubus for the first time in Berkeley, CA at the Greek Theater. Berkeley is an amazing place, and for such a talented and unique band to choose an equally unique atmosphere like Berkeley made for one amazing night.
I had just started listening to the group several months before I heard they were going on tour to promote their 6th album. I frequently lost myself in "Morning View"'s varying pace of a brilliant mixture of soft melodic and hard rock songs. I rocked out to "S.C.I.E.N.C.E" and "Make Yourself" in a cold box I worked at in a local grocery store. But I must say, seeing Incubus in concert was an experience in itself. Perhaps it was the scent of a certain illegal substance that permeated through the air (this was after all Berkeley, CA) but I ended up experiencing one of the best times of my life.
The group doesn't just make amazing songs, they perform them in such a flawless way that you feel as if you are experiencing a recording sessions played to perfection. The band, accompanied by Brandon Boyd's vocal range, have the amazing ability to take your concert experience to the next level. After seeing them perform live I can safely say that I am, and forever will be, a fan of this amazing, musically diverse, extremely gifted, talented, and unique band known as INCUBUS!!!
