Lightning crashes

Hours slip by

I see the world

Through different eyes

I'm flying high

Can't come down

Dreading the moment

That I hit the ground

I never know what to say

Until the moments end

Now you're not coming back

I'm no longer your friend

They say "now or never"

but they don't say that never comes so fast

And now I'm flying high

Just can't get down

Waiting for the moment

When i hit the ground

I always gave you the world

I guess it wasn't enough

I never gave you my word

Love is tough

Now I'm falling fast

I'm coming down

I knew it'd never last

Watch me hit the ground
