Incubus gave me my monies worth. I don't know how you can give the show anything less than 5 stars. I think after being a fan of Incubus sense 2000, I can finally say they met every expectation I had and then some. You can't chose a better venue than Red Rocks. Perfect cool weather. Lighting. The crowd was off the hook. The band was on point. Every member of Incubus was just amazing. Brandon's voice was off the hook. What a command of the crowd. They(Incubus) really raised the level of excitement.
The next question is when will Incubus come back? To Red Rocks that is. I want front row seats! I set aside my special bank account. Lets call it the Incubus account. Whatever it takes I will be there. Front row.
Stay true to who you are? You don't need to follow the commecial route.
Hmm what else is left for you? You have another unique CD in the works. What ever you need to do? Take your time. Take a break after your tour and come back with the hard hitting tunes. I am singing today because you have inspired me. That concert was what did it for me.
All I heard after the show was gripes and complaints as to the length of the show, and the unpersonalized greetings and conversing between the band and the venue fans, and etc etc.
Personally, whether a concert last 2 hours or 5 hours, if the performance is that amazing and memoriable it will seem like it all went by in 5 minutes.
Red Rocks is an amazing venue, form scenery to acoustics. The weather conditions that night couldnt have been more perfec with a cool breeze and settling constant temperature.
The light show behind the stage was nothing more than added onto the ambiance of what was already so mystifying in its own.
The performance of the band,....was nothign short of amazing.
Each song performed has now permantely cast a distict memory within....now when I hear one of those songs that were performed....I immediatly think back to the exact moment it was performed.
The set was lay-back, bohemian and vintage, and not to mention soulful in its own.
sure, mayeba story or two would have been fanatstically collaborated into the setting similar to that of something like an unplugged set....but this show lived up to and surpassed my expectations.
As a fan for over ten years, I was really disappointed with the show. I thought this would be a great opportunity to see my favorite band ever at the most beautiful place on earth howeverthe show lacked complete enthusiam. The set list was very similar to other shows and even a show from three years ago when I saw them in Rocherster, NY. Any who plays for under an hour and a hlaf????!!!! The show left me wondering if something was wrong healthwise or if there were issues interally with the band.

It was a major disappointment!
Little More Please
Well I was happy to see them again; but after 6 cd's is it too much to ask for more than just an hour long show.
