I could not have asked for a better performance.
Jones Beach theater was awesome as always and
I had really good seats toward the front.

Incubus was perfect.
Musically, they blew me away.
And their stage presence was charming.

I sound like an American Idol Judge so I'll stop.

Godlike performance =P

I was sitting in Section B, Row L seat 14. I brought my little sister, also a fan.
The Incubus concert was my salvation after a troubling few weeks, and I was not disappointed.
I love to let loose but was so enthralled that I could peel my eyes from the stage. The view was astounding . If I couldn't see someone on the stage then they would appear on the screen.
The music was perfect. I am a huge fan of their work and found their new CD exceptional. I was so happy that they played a bunch of those songs. After all isn't this tour the Light Grenades Tour, shouldn't they play the Light Grenades album. My only complaint would be that not everyone was as appreciative as they should have been. Their set was perfect, did anyone hear a flaw? All the songs flowed so well. Wow. It did drizzle a little, and it just added to the experience. It is ok if it rains every time they play Jones Beach, it keeps the crowd cool in the summer heat! I also enjoyed the light show, Brandon seemed to be having fun spinning them around, it made me laugh a little, he looked so much like a little kid spellbound by the distance the lights would reach.
Thank you boys for an incredible night, it will never be forgotten!

I drove all the way from Montreal, which is about 7-8 hours away from Jones beach, and I'm so glad that I did. I had really great seats ( 8 rows from the stage) and I was just blown away at how great Incubus is live. I can understand why the set list was somewhat short, I mean I know it's already been 8 months or so since his surgery on his hand and I'd rather know that his hand will get better than have him hurt himself again trying to please people with a long set list. I thought that there was an amazing energy throughout the entire crowd, it really felt like everyone was having a good time and it's just great to hear everyone singing along to all the songs, not just the new ones. I'm really glad I got a chance to see them for the first time at such a beautiful theater.

Incubus put on a great performance as a band but i dislike what bands are doing nowadays. I understand you have to promote your new cd but at the same time there are people that go to your shows that have listened to the band when they first started. When you only play 1 song off of SCIENCE and a couple off of make yourself it's a slap in the face to the old school fans. I found it hilarious to see nobody going crazy for vitamin. It just shows me how lame and trendy people have become and how music sucks. When i saw them with 311 in 2001 it was amazing and they opened up for them. Its sad how cheesy bands like 311, and Incubus have become. Even 311 was lame when i saw them 2 weeks ago. I met incubus in 1999 for free at looney tunes, now you have to pay $35 to meet Brandon Boyd. LAME!!! Get over yourselves.

This was my very first Incubus show. I've been a fan for years, ever since the very first album! On my college radio show I'd always play New Skin as it was a campus favorite. Anyways, the show was fantastic. I go to many concerts throughout the year and this crowd by far was the best.
I was majorly disappointed when they didn't perform Pardon Me. Now, I know some bands don't do their hits at their shows because they would rather do non popular tracks, but ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!!! So Incubus if you are reading this, that was very lame of you. And to whomever decides to read this and disagree with what I say, it's my opinion!

Peace Love Light

to describe how absolutely amazingly wonderfully perfect this concert was.
there is something about seeing this band live that gives you such a greater appreciation for the music they have created. the little light show that Brandon did was pretty damn cool too. but yeah over all i would have to say this was the best concert that i have ever been to..

My first Incubus concert & my first concert @ Jones Beach and I absolutely loved it! The seats were really good I thought, Orchestra H, Row DD. The "Stand By Me" cover was awesome! Definitely gonna try and see them again!

incubus had put on the greatest show that i have ever seen, they put out a flawless setlist, and an incredible encore of are you in?, look alive, and then to end it they did an excellent aqueous transmission, which some people werent happy about, but others, like me, were greatly satisfied. I gained alot of respect for ben kenney, especially after the whole 10 minute jam during Sick Sad Little World. Ben had an incredible jam, especially jose pasillas, whos drum solo was sick and long, and he worked hard on it too, it looked like his arms were gonna fall off. their new song, look alive, was incredible, and added the extra power to the encore. their setlist all together is the best i have heard, and seen compared to other concerts, but who cares about those concerts, cause this one, i went with my Dad and it was a great father/son event. it was amazing going with him, to know it was just me and him, and he enjoyed it as well, both of us seeing Incubus for the first time. i was also suprised that during songs such as pistola and oil and water, brandon whipped out a telecaster, which i have never seen or heard him play guitar before ever. DJ Kilmore's solo in vitamin, was amazing, he has such talent on turntables, and so does everybody in that entire band. one of my favorite parts of the show was in the third song, wish you were here, brandon had everybody sing the ending chorus, which blew me away.IF ANYBODY HAS AUDIOS OF THE SHOW, PLEASE CONTACT MY EMAIL!.. and brandon, has such an incredible voice, it is unbelivable. it was awesome to see, during the 10 minute jam during Sick Sad Little World that Brandon took out 2 stage lights and had them hovering over ben and mikey during their solos, just a little extra to add to their show. but it was definitly the best concret i have evear gone to, and i was even more happy, i got to spend it with my dad.=]

lovved loved the show. absolutely amazinggg. I am very happy with the set. They gave a wide variety of favorite songs close to the fans hearts. Their set was....Quicksand | Kiss To Send Us Off | Wish You Were Here | Anna Molly | Pistola | "Careless Whisper"- Wham Cover | Vitamin | Love Hurts | Drive | Megalomanic | SSLW | Stand By Me (King Cover) | Oil | Dig || Are You In | LOOK ALIVE!!!! | Aqueous Transmission... It was my first Incubus concert and I was very excited to hear new material.. I had orginally thought Light Grenades would be their last album. Thier music has come so far from Fungus Amongus and being that this album is pretty damn amazing, I figured it would be a good place to for them to end.. ya know go out with a bang. Buttt hearing new material gives me hope of a new album to be in store for us all soon!!

and for the writter who was upset that incubus played mostly new songs and drove ALL the way to LI to be disappointed.. Here is some news for you.. YOU WERE AT A LIGHT GRENADES NORTH AMERICAN TOUR 2007! Ass!

This show was great. I thought the line up wasn't bad. I had great seats, so I got a great view of the stage. Nikon Theater is an extremely good place to see concerts, I've seen 6 or 7 there. I was sitting Orchestra H, row JJ. Anyone sat near there? I forgot the setlist, unfortunately.

I can't remember every single song they played. All I can remember is how amazing they were and I amazing I felt being there.

I can remember most of their songs, but there were a couple they I didn't know. So does anyone have or remember their set??? I want to see the name of this song that I loved live (Brandon was whistling)

God all those guys are so damn talented....

This was my second Incubus concert and I left with the same opinion as I did before.
Being an Incubus old time fan, I can't help but getting frustrated by their live performances.

The band is too perfect live, all the details are there, even if pre-recorded and played by the DJ.

Again, I felt like I was watching a DVD.
Great lights, great musicians, but no warmth (yeah, not even that song).

How can a band leave stuff like New Skin, Certain Shade, Nice To Know You out and play stuff like Are You In? and Love Hurts in front of a crowded audience?

No wonder why their public changed so much. I didn't feel like I was in a rock concert at all.

I love all the songs, though.. so of course I enjoyed it! Just think they have the potential to put out a concert that you'll get home and won't be able to fall asleep.

Rage Against The Machine did this a couple weeks ago.

I thought it was really cool that Mike got into his Gibson SG and played with the same guitar for 90% of the show.
Brandon is an amazing singer.

Strange thing they opened with Quicksand and ended with A. Transmission.
Even though I think those were some of the best songs of the night they do say what the night was... slow from the beginning to the end.

Oh, well.. I love Incubus, even though I disagree with their choices/attitude on stage.

<3

It was my first time going to there
concerts and i lovedd it!!
I cant wait to go next time <3

This was my first time at the Nikon Theater and thought it was a great place for a concert. Incubus was amazing as always. The encore songs were three of my favorites, so it ended on such a high for me. I love 'Look Alive', and was surprised that not many people have heard it. Though there were some songs that they didn't play that I would have liked, their list of great songs is too long for one concert so I'm not at all disappointed with their set. They picked great, up-beat songs that were perfect for a concert. Can't wait to see them again!

it was my first concert and incubus is my fav band so i loved it!!!!

I just drove all the way down to Long Island to sit in traffic forever, but it was ok because it was for an Incubus show right?
WRONG!
If I wanted to listen to the new CD, I would have purchased it for $15 in a cd store instead of wasting $40 for a ticket to a concert. The only songs not off the new CD were 2 from ACLOTM & 3 from Morning View, but only 1 (Drive) from Make Yourself (the CD that put you guys on the map)? The new song that you played was very good, however, you missed the ball. A short list of songs not played:
Stellar, Pardon Me, New Skin, Circles, Make a Move, Privilege, The Warmth, Nice to Know You, Certain Shade of Green, the list goes on...
The sound was great! Mike nailed every part & the instrumental breakdown in Sick Sad Little World was phenomenal. But your set list was awful. I understand that you can't play the same songs every single night b/c it gets boring. On the other hand, you can't deprive fans of your best simply b/c you've done it a few nights before...

i thought i was really amazing although they didint play pendulous threads, rogues or circles
and neone no if they played pardon me or diamonds and coal? i can't remember

Incubus was sooooo good in concert. they sounded just as good as on their recordings. this really shows how talented they all are. they played some of their best songs and it was just so GREAT to be their. i am soooo glad i went.

~Jake~

I am in denial that i'm even on earth right now with This concert and Chris cornell's show 8 days apart, i think i've made it to the great beyond.

One of the best, if not the best concert i've ever been to. Sat first row and couldnt be any happier. Would love to see you guys again next year!
