one of two
i freaking love incubus!!! i ve been following them around since i was in high school and caught them in san antonio in october of 2001. i had not been able to catch them again till this past week. we were luckly in the front of the line and spent the wait drinking out on the street. when they came out it was pure awesomness.......i was right in front of ben.....two days later i was sitting on the lawn of the woodlands enjoying them one more time!!
Loved every minute of it!!
I got to the Austin music Hall at 6 and the line was long but it was well worth the wait the opening band The Duke Spirit were suprisingly good having never heard them before. But I loved all of it Incubus played my 4 favorite songs and I couldnt have asked for a better concert other than some drunk dudes pushing through us late in the concert.

im proud to say that i was the first in line. i almost
got to meet the band but the 101X girls were too committed to
inconsistencies to allow that to happen. they offered me a meet and greet
pass, then decided to take it back and give it to someone else.
i did make some awesome first in line friends.

I want to thank you for all of the inspiration that you've given me over the years to keep fighting the good fight by spreading light throughout my world.
More importantly, I am forever indebted to you all for putting on such a perfect show. I as well found myself proposing to my Girlfriend during Dig! (of which I didn't plan on doing so soon!)I couldn't help it! I could not have planned a better moment to make one of the most important and positive changes in my life.(Did not propose to TattooedPuddin - Meaning two couples took the leap on the 19th!)
Thank you again for doing what you all do so well and for the special moments that you all provided to so many this past week.
Changed My Life!
First off Let me say, I have been an Incubus fan for a while and this is one of the many things my b/f and i connect on.
Wed. after noon while waiting with the rest of the crowd, anticipation rumbling in my gut. I had no idea what awaited me. This Being my very first time to see Incubus live. (i know what a fan if she has only seen them once)
The line is moving forward, my excitement is growing! All at once i walk through the doors and it all seem too perfect to be true. I was getting a chance to see our favorite band in a small enough venue that no matter my location i would have a great view.
Opening band totally wailed and had a great time with the crowd. Then the moment i had waited for Incubus! My reaction was awed. Then They begin to play our song (i am sure it's many others as well) Dig.. acoustic even! And this is where it happened.
My boyfriend turns to me and says " i know we have dreamed that one day we might be able to afford to have Incubus play at our wedding, but i don't feel we'll achieve that so this is the next best thing i could come up with...Will you MARRY ME?"
So now i will forever say that this show and this band forever changed my life.

Great show! I hadnet seen them in so long you tend to forget how great they are! The highlight for me was lets go crazy (last song of the night) Mike killed it on the gutair! For me nothing will top when they played at la zona rosa in austin a couple years back!

this was my 13th incubus show, but my first at this venue (or in this state!). sound wasn't bad for being austin music hall (it doesn't have the greatest acoustics) - there was a little mic feedback here and there but nothing serious. the guys looked to be having a fun time, and the stage setup was cool. crowd was fairly into it for the most part, although there were definitely some fairweather fans who didn't know the songs that weren't singles. first time i've seen them since january 2007, so i was definitely ready! highlight for me was, without a doubt, LOOK ALIVE!

AMH does not use tickemaster for ticket sales. If you want to make sure youve purchased legit tickets the site to use is frontgatetickets.com (for all AMH shows). Hope the info is useful!

Bought tickets
So I just purchased tickets to the show. I bought them from tix2event.com. I don't know how reliable that is. But I'm just glad to have tickets. I wasn't aware that they weren't going on sale through ticketmaster, so I just bought them....

I have never seen them live before; I hear they're great. (They always are, of course.)
I think that this will be the best early sweet sixteen present ever! (Despite what my friends think... I should work harder to musically educate them...haha)
I am so stoked to go, and I hope they play a lot of their old stuff, (yeah, I miss the old school Incubus with Dirk... even though I was toddler when Fungus and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. came out - the best; Morning View is still my favorite)

Confusion on the concert date
The date online shows the Austin show is on 8/18/2009. On the tickets I've purchased it reads Aug 19th 2009. The concert is on the 19th right??!!

Even though I saw that the pre-sale and on-sale dates had seemed to change I still tried my pre-sale code on May 11th and was able to get through. I have already received my tickets. Though I am a little worried about my ticket being from Get Tix now that they have changed to Front Gate Tickets....
Austin Tickets!
Pre-sale was today @ 10:00am, and by 10:15am the tickets were no longer available through Gettix- The show being held at Austin City Music Hall states tickets will go on sale on 05/30/09 @ 10:00am through frontgate tickets- if you go to frontgate tickets or any other site like ticketmaster the Austin Show for 08/19/09 is not on the list of tour dates. This pre-sale moved from 05/11/09 to 05/26/09 selling out in meer minutes was a ploy to sell more cd's by releasing what I suspect to be a meer 10 tickets for the extended pre-sale date. If your not from Austin, the venue is small. I'm sure they have nearly sold completely out of the tickets- so there for the ticket sites meerly have not even bothered listing this date being they have no tickets to release. I rather of paid my itunes for the cd to bypass the hassle of having to copy it to my computer to transfer to my ipod! and I didn't get presale tickets, and doubt I I will get regular tickets with the current history of the tickets sales for this show. A all around blow to a true Incubus fan!
Austin Texas Tickets?
I was wondering if anyone knew if tickets for the Austin show are going to be available at ticket master or anywhere else? does anybody know? Tickets are available for other shows at Ticketmaster.com, but except for the Austin one:s I really want to know if tickets can be purchased some other way!!!

I am really confused about the Austin show. As many people have been writing I was one that ordered the CD to get the pre-sale code. I remember trying to get tickets the day the pre-sale started and it said the presale moved to May 26 which is today. So again I tried to get my tickets today and for some reason it said sold out. I called the vendor to get more information and all they could tell me was that they were no longer selling tickets for the concert in Austin. They could not give me anymore information. I've been really frustrated to say the least and really want to know whats going on with the Austin show. Does anyone know where else to get tickets?
Pre-sale tix
I'm pretty disappointed.... I ordered the CD and got on the pre-sale list, but the day the tickets were SUPPOSED to go on sale got pushed back. Then that date rolls around, and nothing again. Now today I come home from work to order them and all tickets on my "price level" have been sold out.... well that's just FABULOUS... so much for being on the pre-sale list! If anybody could give me a heads up on what my next best option is from here, please let me know!!!!

No Problem getting Tickets.
I ordered the album and got my pre-order code. I had no problem loggin in on may 11th at exactly 10am and got my tickets, they already came in the mail too. My friend tried to get tickets the same day and she was told they sold out.
Question
is the only way to get pre-sale tickets is to order the new album (which i don't mind)...or is there another way to get on the presale list?

The Austin presale somehow moved to Tuesday, May 26th, with the public sale on the following Saturday. Waiting patiently, its completely worth it. Pretty incredible we might see them at the very first place we saw them on the morning view tour. We were unsuspecting fans since science but became enlightened at that show. thank u boys

Well, I THINK/HOPE I'll be going.
I ordered Monuments and Melodies a while back, still have my order number jotted down and here it is Friday and with presale starting Monday, I haven't received my presale code yet. Seeing how I WORK ON MONDAY!!!!-I am a bit concerned that (a) I won't get the presale code at all or (2) that I won't be able to receive it and get to buy my tickets at work...(because of stupid internet filtering at work)... I have already tested the ticket site and I do have access! but with the problems finding the presale code I may be out of luck....I'll be really upset if I don't get my tickets....
