I am emailing you regarding a proposal I have for Incubus. With my high school, we have collaborated with the Invisible Children Organization. Invisible Children is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to advocate and educate about war torn Northern Uganda and to help rebuild schools in the area. My high school, Norte Vista High in Riverside , California , is participating in their Schools for Schools program, which means that a school in the states helps a school in Northern Uganda and the money we raise, goes directly to the school.

My high school and I want to host a benefit concert/event in which we get others involved and educated about the issues in Uganda . So far we have a couple of local bands signed up to perform at the event.

The main reason for this is that I was wondering if Incubus would be willing to perform at the benefit concert as well. I know it is a great stretch for a benefit concert, but it would definitely boost the energy of the event and more. I know we may not be a popular high school but we would really appreciate it if you would be able to consider us.
