most unique since science
Megalomanic is obviously a great song and perfect choice for first single, but some of the other songs took me a second to get. After listening to the whole thing a couple times through I appreciated how AMAZING this album is. Every song is so unique and different from the rest. Some people were comparing it to morning view and make yourself, but you really can't, you have to appreciate it for it's uniqueness. I think some of Brandons best lyrics are in this album, especially in Leech. Sick, sad, little world is so amazing and its even better live.

Being in India really doesn't help the cause of discovering bands, especially if they aren't exactly mainstream. So when I got bored of the regular shyte of Linkin Park and Nickelback I decided to hit the music store and pick up the album of any rock band that I had heard of. Those days "Megalomaniac" had been topping the Billboard charts so I thought What the Heck! lets try em out. And I'd be damned if I ever forget that day
It's been an absolute ride listening to y'all. I seriously did not think any album could ever top "A crow left of the murder" but I was repeatedly amazed when I listened to the older and eventually the newer albums. Don't stop, don't ever stop!
Once again..
Incubus totally reinvents their sound. You can hear the influence of the new bassist as things spin another direction. Lyrically this is my favorite album between "Here in My Room", "Smile Lines" and "Leech"
In "Leech" I absolutely love " Kickin myself that I shared spit with you..."
And that is the EXACT feeling after the heartbreak and recovery, when your lookin back at the ex and your like o_O? "What the hell was I thinking"
"Sick Sad Little World"... that solo, does somethin to me...
A phenominal album altogether that Incubus fans will love

This Album is truley amazing. It was a darker feeling to listen to, and it also came at a time where Ben Kenney had replaced Dirk Lance. The entire album has a good sound and very open and raw feel to it. My band and i used to jam Beware criminal! Just love this one.
I wonder if the song "Leech" was ment for the previous bassist? Or perhaps a disgruntled love.

I love this album. i love every album, but this one is special to me. I love meglomaniac, it was the first incubus song that i had ever heard, and me and my friend used to rock out to it. I also enjoy listening to a crow lt. of the murder, and pistola. I think that they are very well pieced songs(as with the album, every thing is in perfect harmony to the themes)I also think that talk shows on mute is an interesting song, but most everything is great on this album. This is an excellent album.

My favorite album
To me this is by far the most creative album with the most meaning. I love every album but there's something about the lyrics and the music that just ties emotion together and captures my every mood putting me in a different state of mind... music is a major part of my life and this album continues to contribute a lot to my sense of creativity.

I seem to hear many people saying they don't like this album, but I have to admit, it's one of my favorites. I mean, the lyrics alone are so expressive and clear and sincere..then you have Ben with crazy bass lines and Kil, Jose, and Mike doing what they do. Awesome album.

Murder Say The Crow
This was a good album to have. It represented a change that I would had thought to be disasterous with band members breaking up and stuff. Ben brought an element to Incubus that allowed them to explore out-of-this-world melody runs. It was really colorful and challenging to listen to. The self titled track is one of my favorites to listen to. And if this album took the shortest time out of them all to make, then I would have to aplaud them for it didn't sound rushed at all.

--The reason i have sick sad little world as my title is because this song speaks to me the vocals and the drums and the rythm etc. just feels like this is the one song that will never get old. Basically all i wanna say is that incubus rocks and if they made another song that has this same rythm it would totally be a hit i mean the words are powerfull and very charismatic on their part but the one word that really trully describes this song is -GLORIOUS- WHY??....

I dont care who you are... this cd has brought me many memories... i have CONVERTEd people into liking incubus through this cd... once again i have to give it to the badass lyrics brandon offers. the man can write. very special talent from each of the boys comes out of every cd and the new member ben kenny shares his in this cd as well. theres not much to say. we are going into mature incubus with this cd.. the boys have grown up but still Rocked it. i have loved incubus since i was a child.. im married now and still enjoying everything they have to offer and a crow left of the murder deserves props!! listen to it and tell me it sucks. i cant say that. ENJOY INCUBUS!

This album is Incubus' greatest. Absolute legendary album. *****
I can quite easily say that this is one HELL of an experience. Its a strange new fusion of dark and uplifting music that speaks to every listener personally on a one-on-one basis. I dont quite 'get' the people who dont rate this album as the bands greatest achivement, but i guess them people dont 'get' what the band successfully expressed in the absolute epic masterpeice.
I have to admit, light grenades was a tiny bit of a dissappointment that it didnt quite live up to the standards of ACLOTM. Then again, not alot can... its very hard to top an album in which every song but Priceless is rated 5/5.
The gem of the entire album has to be 'Sick, Sad, Little world' (6/5 STAR). This has to be the greatest song i have ever heard FULLSTOP. That song alone marks the absolute pinnacle of Incubus' genious, i sincerely hope they can create somthing as stunning as that again.

...and don't wanna miss pistola and zee deveel. All together it's the album i listen to less than any other.

Mixing the Old with the New...
Okay, you got a new bass player and survived! Good job! This album is picture-perfect when it comes to changing tides. It showed me that Incubus can take any word out of the dictionary and make it a hit song. "Megalomaniac" is definitely politically correct, especially if we're talking about the United States. "Agoraphobia" (which means fear of the outdoors--for those of you who don't know) is the story of my life; though I'm not agoraphobic, sometimes I want to be... Oh my God! and "Leech" is also the story of my life: "High school never ends." I LOVE IT!!!
Not my Fav, but it's pretty good.
I have to say I really didn't like this album when I first heard it. The songs Southern Girl and Here In My Room stuck out like sore thumbs. The rest of the album is good, but not the best Incubus I've heard.

This is right with make yourself as my favorite incubus album. There isn't a bad song on here, and Southern Girl is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's a diverse album, but they bring it for every song.
Great Work-Here In My Room
I can say that all of thier works are great and can hardly compare each album.
First I got addicted to Megalomaniac, which was so shocking at that time.
I also love pistola, southern girl,talk shows on mute,made for TV movie and, HERE IN MY ROOM is sooooo great. Beautiful.Amazing!!
