I meet Incubus with this album

But before I listened "new skin" in the album "family values"... i said what t f? incubus? and play it many times...
Then i bougth S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and "vitamin" made me exploit.... and well i am a incubus-holic

Gotta say the whole album is genius but my top tunes are Idiot Box and Redefine.

In my opinion, the best album of the lot. I just love every track. Have loved this album for years and years. Was introduced to incubus via "new skin" which is the title song in motocross madness 2, a game that one of my friends used to love, heard the song and just loved it instantly. Got the album, took a while to appreciate it, but once I did there was no going back!.

Although the entire album rocks, my favourites are probably new skin, glass, favourite things and nebula. The secret track segue 1 (a.k.a. jose loves kate moss) is also awesome, gotta love the randomness off it, also that it shares parts with "show me your tits" by hoobustank.

This album is the album I go to whenever I want to feel happier, I love singing along to it and listening to it from start to finish.

I love this CD! Every song is sooo different. It is most definalty one of the best ablums Incubus has done. My favorite song is deep inside. I just love everything about it... the lyrics are amazing. calgone and nebula are so fun. summer romance is great to drive around listening to and singing at the top of your lungs. I love it! I love it! I love it!!!!!!!! All the songs are different and unique in there own way. AMAZING!!!!! Please come to PITTSBURGH, PA!!!

this was a kick ass phase of incubus, and some of these songs still sound really fresh to me

Being that this was not the first album I heard from them, I have to say the other Incubus (from Make Yourself on up) albums spoiled my view. I don't particularly like this album but it shows potential. If I had listened to them earlier, maybe I would probably have a different response. This album to me was like a time in their careers where they were full of raw talent, but they really didn't quite have a maturity about themselves. They weren't making mistakes or anything, but it just wasn't a...sober album if that makes sense. They were having fun and it showed. I loved the hidden track stuff on Calgone as well as the track.

Words cannot describe how amazing this CD is! it is by far the best CD that Incubus has released. The sound is just so original I love the funk/jazz/rock that are all collaborated together to form just one phenomenal melody. Brandon defiantly wrote a masterpiece when it comes to the lyrics but dirk, mike, jose, and DJ Lyfe rocked the rest of the album. its AMAZING!!

i have this album for like 8 years now, from casette tape to audio cd... and i must admit that this is THE BEST INCUBUS ALBUM EVER CREATED!

experience antigravity with this one! woah...

This is going to sound like every other review on here. But for a damn good reason. Cuz it kicks ass! Seriously, if Incubus could go back to making more s*** like this with their current mainstream power then they could take over music for a long god dam time. They would be the rock power house, even more than they are now.

If you don't own this album, go pick it up. If you're poor, download it. I don't care. The actual band will only see about 20 cents of it if you do buy it. So if you feel like supporting some suit's multi million dollar salary then please, go ahead and pay for it.

Anyways, back to the album. Get a sub. You need a sub to listen to this album in it's entirety. It's all about the bass. This is seriously the last great album i've heard where you can actually distinguish the bass guitar from the rest of the music. And it's damn good. If i ever get a million dollars, then i would give it all towards a concert in my backyard with this original incubus lineup. They meshed so well. It sounds fantastic.

Glass is a good track. In fact the first 5 tracks all played in a row is a guaranteed musical orgasm. God i love it. But ya wanna know where it's really at? DEEP INSIDE ! Honestly my favorite incubus song. It's got the funk, a tiny drop of jazz, some heavy layered guitars, and it's all about 'trippin' haha. Somehow the best combination in my short musical life.

Long story short, just go buy it. You won't be disappointed at all. Definately the takes the spot on the top of the CD rack. (Just like everyone else who reviewed this album)

"S.C.I.E.N.C.E." is Incubus's work of art. This album kicks more ass than any other album I've ever heard--by ANYONE. It's heavy, it's of course funky, and it's real. My Incubus screen name is "Glass_maker" for a reason and that reason is "Glass" is the best song on the entire album. I mean, they all rule, but "Glass" is the ruler. This album compliments the talents of ALL members of the band: DJ Lyfe and his scratching skills, Brandon and his iNsAnE pipes, Jose and his off the wall drumming, Dirk and his funky bass lines, and Mike and his killer guitar rifs.
"A Certain Shade of Green" is the best way for the world to end, honestly. And what is the deal with "Calgone"? That song is so weird and sometimes creepy in only the BEST of ways. Everytime I hear this album, I get a slur of emotions: Happy, when I'm jammin' out to "Glass"; Crazy when I listen to "Vitamin"; and freaked out when I'm trying to comprehend "Calgone". Either way you swing it, this album absolutely rules all other albums.

i absolutley love this album, i love how its a totally different side of incubus but is still f***ing amazing! i love rocking out to this album, luv it!<3 (brandon, i really miss the dreds!)
