I saw some obscure You Tube interview at an art show where BB proudly showed this beautiful painting off and talked about what it means. But I guess just like the spiritual warrior who removed Kurt Cobain's ashes and rolled them into a joint to smoke and release his pure essence into the ether--Brandon's creation must seek out it's new home in the world. at large. The problem is-this painting is too valuable to put a price on it & it should hang in the BB gallery someday.

So I decided to make my own masterpiece inspired by this painting:

(The left side is the mosaic in its entirety, and the right side is a small piece of the picture enlarged.)

While it may be difficult to appreciate the sheer majesty of this work in its current unfortunate low-resolution state, you'll have to trust me when I tell you that it involves a great deal of awesomeness.

You may notice that the tiles are pictures from this very website, enjoyincubus.com. And a special gold star if you also noticed that most of the tiles are various pictures of a shirtless man. One beautiful, beautiful shirtless man.

Anyway... please do enjoy!!

p.s. So as to not confuse this silliness with irreverence, a short serious post script: the original painting is quite amazing and the fact it's being auctioned for charity is remarkable.

So far im the highest bidder! yall really gonna let me walk away with this painting for such a miniscule price for one of brandons works??? : P

Brandon has tapped into the wellspring of the creative core.It amazes me when people can cross the line and take two wonderful raw forms of expression and make them malleable in their hands.When the inspiration speaks to a person,pleads for it to be taken by this one person and this one alone,knowing they are the ones to possess the key to it's proper interpretation,it's a thing of magic to me.I am just coming out of a blind state to see an orgasm to the senses in terms off all that is out there to behold,whether wrought from the human hand or shaped in secret before the first person could tell it it's "name".This I can heartily add to my list.I applaud him for the giving of himself for others rather than providing a piece of crap for the benefit of lining his own pockets.(sound all too familiar nowadays?)
