I recently bought "Monuments and Melodies" the old fashioned CD, instead of the MP3, howeve r MP3's are in. But, I'm intrigued by the work of Brandon's hands, the cover art is amazing. I like the marine design, octopus's whales with open mouths, more like whale sharks with sharp teeth.
As my mind travels back in time I'm remembering where I was in the world when a song I don't recall came out. I remember many of the songs on here, a guess you consider a assortment of monuments and melodies. Eventhough I have never surfed in the crowds, it feels like I have always been a part of this family. I was already into to "Drive", so it only took one listen to fall in love with their music.
I'm a fan because I really like the music, I really like "Drive" and "Wish You Were Here". I use to record the videos so I could playback, and have repetitive encores. My sister use to worship them, to the point of obession. She would definitely be willing to to an Incubus show with me. Their music has all the elements. I think it's their style, all musicians have a certain style.

Comfortable Shoes
I will not be able to go either, or haven't made plans to go there, I live in SC, on the east coast. I heard about this the other day! Brandon is collaborating with Kristin Jai Kolesterman for Tom's Shoes, this should be cool. I have never heard of Tom shoes before, it more like a flat shoe. I think flat shoes are the cutest, but I usually like a little heel. I'm more into comfortable shoes. I would probably wear these if their comfortable. Does Tom's make comfortable shoes? You don't know what it feels like to walk around in uncomforable shoes.
