I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

INCUBUS F*CKING ROCKS MY WORLD!!! Not only are they one of the only bands that are around nowadays that isn't selling out and conforming to the pop standards, but they also have deeply inspirational songs that affect me (and anyone else who's a fan) on a personal level. This is something that i have experienced that is unique to only incubus. Its their sincerity and passion for what they do that creates this understanding between them and everyone who listens, so that every person can relate in their own ways, but still not lose sight of what incubus's music is all about.

Their musical strengths are an other major reason as to why i fell in love with the band in the first place. Starting off with Brandon, who's truly amazing voice is so gripping and versatile, that he could sing hauntingly beautiful ballads or crazy, wild and powerful songs, and be able to pull it off and look incrediblly gorgeous while doing it He evokes a sort of magic and light within everything that he does, which makes for incredibly emotional pieces for the band. Then there's Mikey who's really one of the greats of his time. His talents with a guitar extend far beyond what words can describe; his playing is bone chilling and he's one of my hugest inspirations, as i am just beginning to play guitar. DJ Kilmore is the funk and vitality that makes incubus so unique and creates the neccesary element of weirdness that i have grown to love. Next is Jose who can never go wrong. His agility with the drums goes to no end, which makes for amazingly powerfull beats, which are the foundation their soul-wrentching and fantatstic songs. Lastly there is Ben, who also has an amazing voice and style to his playing that pulls every element of the band together.

Incubus has, for many years now, been (and will continue to be) my all-time favorite band. Their whole sense of music and how they all come together to make these spectacular emotions is awe inspiring. Every thing they do has a certain quality to it that i cant explain, and am not sure that i want an explanation because that's what makes them so special and orphic. I am forever endebted to them for all they have helped me accomplish and that is why i will indefinitly be a fan and hopefully this message has opened the window for an other person to feel the wonderful feeling that i get when i listen to incubus.
