My Reviews & Blog
I have to say I really didn't like this album when I first heard it. The songs Southern Girl and Here In My Room stuck out like sore thumbs. The rest of the album is good, but not the best Incubus I've heard.

Incredible!
I was undecided about whether I was going to attend this show. I really wanted to see the Smashing Pumpkins and 311 and I wondered how many more opportunities I would have to see the Police, but when I heard that Incubus was going to be part of the line up, my decision was made.
I was so stoked to see them live again, it had been nearly two years since I saw them on the ACLOTM tour and I was in hardcore Incubus withdrawal. It was over 100 degrees with no breeze at all, packed against several thousand people when Incubus took the stage. Being in the front row was kinda surreal and seeing the band so close was incredible. The set list left something to be desired, I was hoping they would play a few more older songs and stray a little bit more from their singles. I realized after the fact that at festivals most bands do not have a huge fan base in the audience, so they are more likely to play songs even non-fans would know. They definitely know how to get the crowd going, even being in front row, I could barely hear Brandon singing Drive above the crowd. That was an amazing moment I will never forget. I will also never forget hearing the entire crowd fall silent when they began to play Punch Drunk. That was an unexpected song to hear since it was never released in the U.S.
Overall the performance was incredible. The band had so much energy and Brandon was jumping around despite the blazing heat. I do think Mike was crazy to wear the button up blue long-sleeve collared shirt, it was just a lil' too hot for that.
There are some pretty cool pictures of the show posted on my profile, so feel free to check them out and make comments.

Better than Virgin!!!
I made the trek home from the Virgin Festival in Baltimore MD the day of this show and was worried that I would not make it to the Pier on time.
Compared to the Virgin Festival, this concert was much better. The set list was incredible and the heat wasn't too bad, at least there was a breeze that night. The energy in the crowd was indescribable and came to a high point during Drive. Everyone in the crowd was singing above Brandon and he was smiling contently the whole time. My absolute favorite moment was when they did a cover of Stand By Me by Ben E. King. It was a perfect song to sing in the city of "Brotherly Love" and my friend Heather and I threw our arms around each others shoulders and sang our hearts out. My second favorite moment was Punch Drunk, the people behind me kept asking everyone what song it was and if they were doing another cover, apparently they were not privy to the songs only released in Japan. It was pretty cool hearing that song live twice in the span of two days.
Overall not the best Incubus show I have been to, but still an amazing experience. I was also introduced to a band that I hadn't heard of and now love- The Bravery.
I just hope I don't have to wait two more years to see Incubus live again. The DVD's do not do them justice.

Love It
I absolutely love this cd so much more than A Crow Left of the Murder. It took a few listens for ACLOTM to really get me, this album got me on the first listen. The lyrics seem much more optimistic at points which is a little bit different from their previous albums and there aren't as many angry songs. I love the direction they are moving in and can't wait for the next release.

Perfection!
This has to be my favorite Incubus album of all time. No matter what they have done in the past or what they will do in the future, this album will always stand out as the best Incubus I've ever heard. As a whole, this album is complete perfection.
