My Reviews & Blog
... that all I can listen to is Incubus right now? For the past 3 months, their music, is the only music I'm finding influential to my life at all. At the lowest of low points, listening to "Love Hurts" brought my spirits up in a way that I can't describe. There seems to be some kind of everlasting compassion in Brandon's voice that I can only feel when I sing along to his lyrics. Totally refreshing; and very weird!

This album, although not being my favourite, still rocks. The sound kinda steers away from Incubus' original style; but I have to admit, they are maturing in their sound as experience builds. Brandon's voice is still as passionate as ever, Chris, Mike, Jose and Ben have such huge ambition and unbelievable talent; all of which are an utter inspiration to anyone who strives to make music meaningful.
I love the guitar techniques in this album too; learning them was a lot of fun for me, and I never get tired of playing along with/singing along to "Dig".
This album is a mixture of ambience, mystery, and unpredictable change; it's refreshing to hear something unlike anything else in music today.

Experience the warmth before you grow old.
:)
This was the first time I'd seen Incubus live, and I really didn't know what to expect. But I can honestly say that they performed extremely well, I loved all of their energy; it was seriously euphoric. And I even got a little wave from Brandon
(wishful thinking... lol)
Anna Molly was probably my favourite song of the set.
Amazing!!

Experience the warmth before you go.
Morning View
This album is so appropriate for a moment like lying beneath the stars or watching the sun come up. It's the kind of album that puts you at ease if you're in an anxious frame of mind. The lyrics are so cleverly crafted that they float along and wrap around the music so easily. One of my favourite songs from this album would definately have to be Circles as it prominently follows theories of taoism and buddhism, both religions of which I strongly believe in... but I wont get into all of that
Another one of my favourites is Aqueous Transmission, purely because I just love the different sounds that are used; the mere sound of the song resembles a river!
So basically, two huge thumbs up from me!

Acoustic, acoustic, ACOUSTIC!
Love the acoustic versions for sure; got a little more soul to them! Easy to listen and mellower. I still can't get over the genius of the lyrics!
