That is, figuratively speaking. I was actually driving home from work one day and heard "Drive" on the radio. Brandon's unreal approach was soft but firm with that song, and I was really blown away ... totally smacked me in the face. So I made some personal changes and forged ahead with things. I've since bought all their albums, seen them twice in concert and just FLOG their music (ie, play to "death"). I don't go a week without listening to one of Incubus' songs. The band is just friggen awesome!!!
I really think Mike and Jose are two of the best musicians in my time, but I'm no muso myself. The intro piece to "Wish you were here", where they are playing off each other ... so damn good and (sorry guys) cute! DJ Kilmore, totally changed my way of thinking about vinyl and has paved a path that IMHO no others have since been able to follow. Sorry Ben, I know you guys on Bass always get last mention, but you're the soul of the band, no doubt ;.)
Man, I just can't say enough about Incubus. I almost cried tonight, finding out that Incubus have announced Aus tour dates. I've got shivers now, just mentioning that. I am so stoked!!
We all have our defining bands, Beatles, Stones, Zepplin, Floyd ... but Incubus, they are mine. Love you guys, thank you so much for sharing your talent and experiences.

If it's good to complicate, then MOST of us are doing fine.
