I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...i have been a fan since 2001. i was in the back of science class with my friend miguel. He said "dude you got to listen to this cd i have, its from a band called Incubus". As soon as the headphones touched my ears i was hooked! I was so amazed at the sound and the lyrics. It was the Make Yourself album. I went out and bought the cd the next day.
They are and inspiration to me and their music has influenced my life in so many ways. The song Drive and The Warmth are such motivational songs to me. Those songs and many others push me to be a better person and encourage me to make a diffrence in this world.
I can honestly say Brandon Boyd is a prophet and is my savior! His lyrics and artwork cannot be compared. His voice is beautiful and sothing and it makes me feel like im in a heavenly bliss. I would want him to run for president!
Mike is an amazing guitarist and his riffs are phenominal! He is my Jimmy Hendrix. The sound he makes come out the guitar is clearly uncomareable.
The whole band is awesome and i love each and everyone of them. Jose Ben and Kilmore are spectacular. I love how the comonation of each instrument combines to make a sound only felt in nirvana.
I have felt what it is like to be in nirvana by going to my first ever concert at Madison Square Garden in June of 2004 7pm, to see Incubus live. It was the best day of my life and will never be compared again. I have never felt so much love and warmth and spirtuality like that in my life. I left that building with no voice. The vibe and the love for the band was outstanding and thier perfomance was something i've never seen before.
On Aug 9th i will experince this again by attending thier concert at Jones Beach. I am so excited. I am anticipating the best!
